How about these famous UA alums: Current US Senator Jeff Sessions, Current US Senator Richard Shelby, and Current state of Alabama Governor Bentley. Also, the main founder of wikipedia is UA alum and auburn alum..however wikipedia is not recognized as a scholarly academic source. Surprised an au alum would bring up wikipedia + get the facts wrong regarding alumni status. Rivalry aside: UA was glad for au help after F4.

It's great that UA has those famous alums. My point wasn't to say that Alabama didn't have successful graduates. I simply wanted to point out that we are pretty high up in the rankings for some of our programs, and also that the farming remark was far from correct. Oh, and I'm not an AU alum... yet! @santran Ur missing the point. It's the law that kids go to high school up till a specific age. Those that both graduated from high and later obtained a 4 year degree demonstrates a motive to succeed, regardless of the obstacles. True, an engineering degree from auburn is better than UA. However, a 4 year degree looks good on resume none-the-less.

LSU won or are you going to sit there and say Alabama chose to lose? 3 phases in football and LSU has them. Alabama does not and when two teams are as evenly matched as these are then that one (Special teams) is going to be the exploited weak link.

Well you obviously missed the difference between being in the redzone and kicking FG's vs being at the 30 yd line and trying to kick them. That's ok, Alabama missed too. And it will happen again because LSU's kickers are vastly better than Alabama's and Alabama is still weak in the same areas it was in Tuscaloosa. This time Alabama loses home field advantage.

You don't have to go to school to appreciate and love not only the sports teams that play for Alabama but also the city of Tuscaloosa My sister goes there, I began following Bama when she started 4 years ago After 4/27 I put in weeks of helping sort supplies with the TES gang, and unload trucks or moved debris in areas that looked like a war zone, It doesn't matter that I didn't go to Alabama I have a personal connection to that school and town, forever!
