  • yes. i believe this board is unpaid, so they just volunteered to censor, or whathaveyou, but they do have their own website and stuff on the town hall page.

yes i know what you mean.

i think most of that has to do with the school committee and dept. tho~ they did find a couple mil they 'lost' so maybe they should put that back into the school...

  • and we wonder why our town is bankrupt. we pay tax money toward these dumbasses and intstead cut funding for programs at the high school

  • school funding and public access are two separate things.

what exactly are you talking about?

  • hm well yeah i guess that;s true but I still maintain my frustration with Northbridge refusing to 'cut the fat' and get rid of unnecessary employees instead of cutting programs for their students.

  • If in fact, there was actual 'porn' showed. 1 naked guy isn't porn. There actually has to be explicit sex in porn, or else it isn't porn. And porn is legal to show, actually, after 10 pm, so no I would not be in trouble at all. The only thing you can't show on access is obscenity and anything that has to do with sex and children, you can show a dog taking a shit, but if you show a person taking a shit, that's a no-no. So, there you have it.

  • Haha you can't block local access, so in theory you'd be subject to a felony for providing pornography to minors.

  • Great Matt! Thanks for the post and the response, as usual, you're the only one that comes and visits me for commentary! :) Your show is going well out here and searching for more dvds too! Yes as some people may know public access is protected speech by the First Amendment, although cable providers and towns may make up their own rules to suit their community, it seems that most of them are quite hypocritical by blocking some content and not others. There is a lot going on here lately.

  • David W. Johnson's program "Stop Watching Me" was pulled in Evansville a couple of years ago for being "too provocative." I will post his show as a video response to your video so you can see this highly provocative show that local public access just had to pull off the air.
