si tu connaissait bien notre histoire tu saurait qu,on reste uni et qu,on est pas des traitre et on sadapte au situation difficile les arabe sont la pour rester et on ne sait plus vraiment qui est qui donc dit plus de connerie soit amazigh et algerien et c'est tout , moi mon pere est pourtant de descendence bambara mais on ne tourne pas le dos sur notre pays parce que on est pas arabe au contraire se sont nos diference et la facon qu,on les accepte qui font notre force

The group's lead singer Amazigh Kateb (Amazigh:literally meaning 'Free Man' in the Tamazight),is the son of the Algerian writer and poet Kateb Yacin.Although there is a strong Gnawa influence,the band is noted for its mix of reggae and roots music.
The band's lyrics are in Arabic,Tamazight,French and English and are often controversial.Themes range from discussion of poverty in Algeria or corruption in government .
