  • hi there, i have the same car, i need your help to wire my amp through the firewall, i can't see exactly where the red wire goes through ...can you help me out with this issue? Did you drill a hole ? pictures at dlca88@rogers.com

  • There's a grommet seal you can poke a hole in and run cable through. I'll get some pictures or even a video tonight after work.

  • i appreciate your help buddy .

  • and i need to change my factory speakers, do you know how can i do that ( remove door panels and how to replace the rear speakers ) ? ; )

  • @diegolozano88 You'll want to google, "diy-front-door-speaker-install-coupe-sedan" and click the first result. It is a DIY guide that I followed, I recommend you do the same.

  • please dont forget the video.

  • @diegolozano88 It's posted, check out my channel. Or directly, /watch?v=xdi_9XD55KU

  • is that in a civic?

  • Says so in the description. 2002 Honda Civic.

I actually just finished a big upgrade (New box, second sub, new amp, etc) so hopefully I can post a new video of it soon.

  • Having installed about a thousand systems, I can honestly say, yours sound great. I could listen to it happily for hours.

  • how did u tuned it i dont know the measurements to tuned it

  • I measured the sub and the inside of my truck so I knew how small I could go width and height wise, and how much room I had length wise. Then I used an online tool to get the right dimensions for a 35Hz tuning. Sadly the site with that tool doesn't exist anymore.

  • i like the sub box did u have it custim made or bought it like that

  • The sub box was built by me.

I used a sheet of 3/4" MDF board ($40 or so from the nearest lumber yard) and Liquid Nails to seal it, then hammered in some nails for good measure. It's L-Ported and tuned to 35Hz I never really got around to carpeting it, since it was designed for my Reg. Cab truck. Now that I'm in a civic I might put in my second sub and build a new box, and actually carpet it.

  • i belive having more space for the bass to move around givs a better kick. i cant see a equaliser are u using one the as your sounds seemd to be clean and clear

  • That box is 3 feet long. It was the only way I could get the required volume in my truck and still be able to put the seat back.

I have a 12-band equilizer all ready to go, but unfortunately, I can't use it while my door speakers are still running off the deck.

So until I can afford a second amp, I am stuck using the deck's built in 3-band eq.

  • ZOMG! You're soo lucky. You got a comment from me?? lucky you. A lot of people wish they were you right now.

  • who are you the game freake i dont wish i was him

  • ^ .

  • kool its justablur
