Spino easily took out a full grown charcharadon in a single blow. which is almost same size as a t-rex. i totally agree. Spino can finish of a t-rex before it can reach sufficiently close to harm spino. Spino wins.

It's really quite obvious Spinosaurus was not ment to tackle large prey animals. If it tried, it's teath would break since they are hollow and it's jaws aren't built to withstand the stress applied when an animal bites into another animal. A large prey animal will try to fight free of the jaws, and since Spino's jaws were so narrow and shallow instead of wide and deep like a Rex's, Spinosaurus could risk serious injury to itself if it tried to hit a hadrosaur or something of similar size.

Hey no worries, I too think Spinosaurus is awesome. I mean, it has the title of largest therapod. It's one of the rarest known species since we've yet to get a truly complete specimen. the closest we got were a few spinal fragments and part of the jawbone and they got destroyed in WW2. I don't think the idea of it being a fish eater is too bad at all; it's like a super-sized heron and herons are pretty cool birds in my opinion.

The idea of being warm blooded is you are very active, but to maintain that you need to eat a lot. The T-rex was a pack hunter in a family group but when the males matured they left the family to find a female of there own, in this time with out the help of the family group they scavenged what they could. As for the Spino its a fish eater and a hunter it could not consume large pray not saying it could not kill large pray. If these 2 were to meet they would roar at each other until one would back down just like lions vs hyenas. I posted this earlier but no one read it so i'll post it again.

@noodleking456 Actually, the spinosaurus grew to a maximum or 6 meters longer, though not quite as strong. the spinosaurus lived in north Africa, the t-rex in western Americas. No one would really know the true winner of a fight.

thogh the spino was a fairley weak carnivore compared to the Sheer power of the t-rex you have to consider the fact that t-rex was a carnivore and would not simply fight a spino like that - it would have to be a fight over the last scraps of food and spino would not have settled for scraps so there would be no fight.

My T-eex killed 6 Spinosaurus's and a twister go rid of the fences and the rex got out. I was about to retire the tyrannosaur but as soon as i got my target the T-rex dies of old age before i get to shoot it LMAO!!
My nethew gets excited when a t rex wins a fight because its his favorite dinsaur.
