hmm i like at the ending there - Eric's shocked face with Ariel realizing what he saw

thats the only annoying part i found in the movie: Eric accepted the fact that Ariel was a mermaid to quickly i think - something he doesn't believe in and the girl he falls in love with is one? i don't think so

Awsome vid! Though Disney don't know their own stories, it is said that ONLY a person of Tritons family can touch the tridant (IIRC it is said in the sequal) so how can Eric touch the tridant? At this time he wasn't part of the royal mermaid family.

If you think about it in two films, the trident is placed in a hole in the palace(atlantica). Perhaps it is there that can be extracted only by a king's family, just as it did Melody. ;)

@mangakitten1 thing is, this is showing TLM 1 scenes, Eric fought Ursla BEFORE the marrige to Ariel in The Little Mermaid 1 so technically, since we see him fighting here he obviously hasn't become part of Ariels family YET so he shouldnt of been able to touch the tridant.
