i changed from playing on the xbox to the playstation 3 simply because alot of my friends have the ps3 and also cos im a tightass and didnt want to pay €40 every month. but the controller on the ps3 i thought was very small , but i got used to it. but now when i go back to xbox its fucking massive and bulky, dont know how i managed to play with it.

they all copy each other nowadays anyway, im pretty sure its like everything else in the world, look at cars how many look exactly the same as other models. its so the companys dont miss out on a trick and taking a chance in being different.

for them its better to copy and lose some respect then make a loss cos they didnt follow the movement.

To be fair Sony pushing 3D brought something to the table. I don't know what developer came up with the idea first but, the way the ps3 and the tvs do 3d, 2 people can play on the same screen but see different images. So the problem with split screen is abolished

hey this guy is right.i think that no matter what happened nintendo is going to out sell sony and Microsoft i mean nintendo always dose.the legend of zelda and mario hell yea there a lot better than gears of war nintendo will be sold out for there first party games as for sony well to one point they suck but sony rocks for the console power.overall i think that Microsoft better get there gears up if they don't want to lose the motion controls are a lot better on the wii than that thing.

Xbox and Nintendo copied Sony. Sony made that technology first with the eye toy on PS2. I also agree with you J I am not a big motion control fan give me a regular controller any day.

Your video console history is a little off. Been drinking the Sony Hate Kool-aid much?

Sony brought us dual analogue controllers (a staple), rumble, shoulder buttons, grip handles, L3/R3 buttons to name a few. Sony were prototyping Kinect 'style' gaming with cameras back in 2002! You can find tech videos of prototype Move controllers predating the release of the Wii for crying out loud.

As for Vita copying WiiU, considering the Vita was announced first... say what???

@JesseDeya N64 had rumble and analogue first, Nintendo implemented shoulder buttons on the SNES first. Sony added a second analogue stick (which is great don't get me wrong) But Sony (not so much now) have followed trends created by Nintendo. This baring in mind the original PSone controller had no analogue - N64 announced Sony make an analogue controller. Nintendo announces Rumble pack - Sony makes dual shock. Sony have innovated but only through the path Nintendo created.

@rosko123 N64 announced their rumble pack at or about the same time Sony showed the Dual Analogue Controller (predecessor to the Dual Shock). It not only had dual analogue sticks, but in Japan it had rumble built in. Obviously both Sony and Nintendo were working on developing rumble at the same time. Sony however, brought rumble to market _built in_ a much better controller, with no need for batteries. Their solution is the one every company still uses today, just like dual analogue sticks.

@JesseDeya the PSeye was horrible!!!!!!! back in the day it was cool but nothing compared to kinect on the pseye it took a video of you it did not track your motions like the kinect does so the pseye was pretty much a video camera

i would love to see like Fallout 4 for the Wii U, no need to get that laggy pip boy up and pause the game and stuff, just tape that controller to your arm and you have one yourself!
