The inauguration was a really great day!! I live in kenya and I go to boarding school here and the teachers let us miss our prep session and stay up late just too watch it... there was sooo much noise in the girls boarding house that night lol!! But you guys did really well I loved the obama song at the end... and when daniel was being obama it was really funny,,,, Hehe Good stuff good stuff!!

I It was my first time too! I went to the center by my building and the lady kept saying she didn't see my name, but she was checking under my first name.I'm so glad she found it cause I was about to cry. My mother and little sister,shes 4 ,came in and did it with me I went at 7:30 AM! I called all of my friends to wake them up, but some did it a little later. I watched CNN that whole day! I'm so proud of myself!

This was my first election to vote and I just felt so great....words cant explain. I voted early and campaigned to get others to vote. I felt a pull of togetherness amongst my fellow peers at UNCW...We even had the opportunity to hear Obama at our school. It was my first time voting as well. I actually attended the Inauguration. Marched down with my fellow Howard University students who lead us into NOTHING lol but we still found our way. It was cold, tiring, and very painful because I ended up with a sprained ankle but it was so very worth it. That was a HUGE day in history and I can say that I was there.
