porsche means quality, ferrari is not a serious car, it is a toy. 911, even a gt3rs, you can drive to work every day. ferrari will try to kill you

I was always impressed by porsche build quality and reliability. Someday il get one for me. Itl be modern basic carrera, and/orm '97 carrera 4s in limited blue.

Nicer quality that's a joke. Porsche interior quality is rather lame. Brilliant car though. And the guy on the video could have gone faster but they always never take it to the god dam limit. Hate when people show these videos and not show the real potential of the car.

Nice to see a proper speed run of the 997TT Manual. That was roughly 201mph right there, same as the top speed of Ferrari F40 one of the very fastest cars in the world only 15-20 years ago. Very nice shifting too indeed.

yeah. this car is 997 911 turbo. 997 is their code name and 911 turbo is the model name. and as for cosachubby, this is not 996 turbo either because 996 is a code name for previous generation. that's why I thought it was funny. no offense though :)

@DJKrissJ haha no offense taken man, its just personal preference really. i like both cars, i just like porsche a bit better. i've driven two ferraris actually, a 2000 360 modena 6 spd manual and a 2003 575 f1. they were a family friend's cars, so i was pretty lucky to be able to drive them. i think porsches are easier to drive, my dad has an '07 carrera 4S coupe 6spd, and a friend of mine's dad has an '08 997 turbo coupe 6 spd. i drove the turbo once and it was quite a rush

@DJKrissJ i couldn't agree more with you about that new gt2 rs. 620 hp from a stock flat 6, its incredible. no need to apologize at all. yes the 997 turbo was quite an amazing car to drive, i didn't get on it much at all because it wasn't my car, but you can feel the gobs of torque that thing makes at very low rpms, its ridiculous. the clutch on the 360 i drove was just really stiff, it was harder to push in, the porsches require literally no effort to push in. that new pdk turbo is a beast tho!

@brv49 Yeah, the GT2 RS is amazing! I'll have to tell my mate about you driving a 997 Turbo. He adores 911s! I can't comment about the clutch in the 360 as I've only driven the Stradale, which has paddles. That was very close too the LP640 for 'best car I've driven' honours. It's just so involving.

Got to love supercars. They're just amazing creations and with any luck the manufacturers will hold the eco bods off for as long as they can so those glorious engines can keep wowing us.

@camirocz they're nice and they are fast, but then again an enzo is close to a million dollars, 458 italia is around 240k, and a 430 scuderia is upwards of that. don't get me wrong i like ferraris, they're just more than i would want to pay for a performance car. now if i had an unlimited income, i'd get ferraris all day everyday
