I'm from New Jersey ( North, Bergen county) as well. Some of the cons of living in this state are

1) High population density

2) High prices for food, land, and basically anything else you need or want

3) Way too much pollution and commercialization, there is no real freedom in may ways.

I also think that the government and businesses are set up in monoplys, It is very difficult to get a piece of the pie if your family wasn't part of your job.
