I can't agree with folding as much as he is on the button in 3 way action. Most pros raise with atc on the button in 3way in a tourney. its a great time to pick up some free chips.
The key here is that unlike a 9 handed tournament, 3rd place is the bubble. It's imperative that you play to make it in the money first. Once you're safely in the money, then you can open up your game to secure the win. Most of the time you watch pros playing poker it's a final table in a tournament where the top hundred or two make the money. By that time, you're in a very, very different place than 3 handed in a 6 way SnG.
I can see that point. And I understand where your coming from. However 3 handed is a great time to steal blinds and increase your chip stack. The bubble is also a great time to steal because people are tightening up as they try to make the money. So with 3 handed and 3rd being the bubble its twice as good a reason to raise preflop and steal. If you're playing just to make the money, you're not playing to win. Just my 2 cent
Having a low flush on the turn with suited cards and the 3-flush on the board is a very precarious place to be. Limping with 73d, which was what I was describing, is a lousy idea because even if you flop the miracle flush, you're still not in a great place. I can't count the money I've lost with KQ suited (much better than 73) because I flopped a flush, but couldn't convince a donkey to lay down his ace-rag offsuit.
really enjoyed watching this. you were getting some really solid cards... i never get those cards. maybe once every 20 hands or so. do you play cash tables or just sit and gos and tourneys?
HU was obviously just waiting for the fish to hang himself.. You did that well but I think calling on the button with a hand like J7 is a major leak.. That`s a raise as a big stack and a random fold from time to time.. Just my 2 cents
Nice hits and fine play in the early stages, but I think you could improve by gettin way looser 3handed! Especially in position. You don`t wanna fold an ace there..
I know. It's tough to get Gizmo when he's being camera-worthy AND when we have the camera handy. Don't worry, though. You've not seen the last of him.
Then why would you just min bet with A2 on the turn? What an obvious hit, then you push all in with QQ, I have seen players like you do this everytime, like clockwork.
geez, -$1556. ROI is -12%. but u played so well in this video

You're not wrong about the ROI. Lately I've done better, but I have a hole to dig out of yet.
