Ok, ok, I couldn't do the Twilight Hack, so I did smash stack. Whenever I downloaded the Wiibrew and downloaded the boot.elf file from it, my screen turned black and the blue light started flashing. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Now it's not turning on at all.

Your wii removes the hacked save file after something like 5 minutes automatically :P You just untinstall the homebrew channel like you would with any other channel :)

Go to Wii Settings in the Wii Options menu, and on the first screen (Wii System Settings 1), it will say what version your Wii is running, eg. Version 3.3X (with X being you Wii reigon, eg E for Europe, J for Japan and U for America)

I've tried this about 5 times but I keep getting 'failed to boot (-1). Its really driving me crazy, I have all the files on the root of my SD card (not the extract folder) and I have the right version for my region. Any other ideas why its doing this? I also have a D2pro chip in my wii.

download the emulator for that game like snes

then put your rom in that emulators file that says "roms"

i meant you dont need a modchip just to be clear :). You still need to run the twilight hack like in this tutorail to get the homebrew channel and have it work.

The only thing that kept me from giving it a go before was that it required that burned CD and a modded Wii, and I don't temper with hardware anymore. With this whole online updates thing, better not play import games(I don't even care about free 'backup' games, I like the real deal better) than to not have your system working properly and miss out on cool upgrades.

Make sure that you open up the .zip and move the contents of it on to the memory card. i know some people getting that error had put the .zip directly onto the sd card (which wont work). You also need to make sure that you selected the homebrew channel as part of your pack, and that there is a boot.elf file on the root of your memory stick.

Try loading up the other save file (the second one). If that doesnt work, make sure you have the correct region o the saved file too.

there is basically no way you can break the wii by doing this. you can easily uninstall it too if you want

you will need to have Zelda, but you only need one time. after that you dont ever need zelda in the dvd drive again. so you could simply go rent it from your local video store.

No need to say your sorry! yes you need zelda, but you only need it in the drive one time (the first time you run the twilight hack). so you would be just fine renting it and intalling the homebrew channel.

you need the game, but you actually dont want a saved file of twilight princess already existing on the memory card, thats why I deleted it before copying over the twilight hack.

You must take all the data that is inside the zip file and put it onto the root of your SD Card, and then everything will be set up for you. Be sure you select both the Homebrew Channel and the Twilight Hack from the Pack Generator list though!
