  • trap houses

  • i love da bluff

  • me and my homeboy had a apartment right off Northside Drive, right there at Echo, we had to move the red dog kept locking us up!

  • I live here, this is my hood! At 4:03 you are on my street!

  • so i guess its safe to say herndon homes will be the last project standing in the A... damn Aint that a Bitch!!!

  • True...I went to Thomasville on Sunday and damn near half way torn down, Bowen Homes is almost completely torn down, and the city has started on Bankhead Ct, I heard.

Check this I drove by Herndon Homes on Sunday and the damn city changed its name to the "Filmore Housing Community"- I already miss Alonzo F. Herndon Homes

  • what?!?! so is it being demolished? Ive thats one hood the A will be keepin...but I doubt that.........this shit is really hard for alot of people

  • Well it will probably be the last but you know once the city changes the name it's not looking good for Herndon Homes.

  • Its gonna be torn down, they found asbestos or atleast thats what they said. That is prime real estate for condos as you can see by the condos across the street from

  • Yeah all the public housing developments were built with asbestos so that is a major reason for them to get razed.

Remember back in the day Herndon Homes was 2x the size it is now. They tore down half of it for that Ga Dome parking lot.

  • there is only families in the apartments on kennedy st, the bus doesnt even go through there anymore

  • So are they getting ready to tear up this part of the city too??? Did they already start demo on Bowen? I was down in Atlanta last month and saw a lil bit of the Vine City area, not on purpose but was excited to see it... It is just so different than up here in Boston, ya'lls housing is spotty while up here their is large complexes an apartments, but ya'll have bad areas we have bad blocks, But I was wondering what home havent they torn down yet? seems to me they are jus gettin rid of everythin

  • It will be a while before Tha Bluff is taken over. There are new houses built all the time and boarded up before they can be sold. Bowen Homes is almost completely down. The city has started demolition on Thomasville Heights, next Bankhead Court and Hollywood Court- both are closed down.

  • I havent rode up Hardee st. off Moreland Ave. past edgewood ct. in a while I think those are still up

  • dem crackas comin fa da bluff now

  • Shit looks gutta...I remember hearing bout "The Bluff" from some Lil Weavah song where he says "I really think the Bluff might be the hardest place you ever seen" or some shit like that, but I never seen it before. Props on the video!

  • Did you look at the apts too? This neighborhood is only 12 blocks but yet monster. Most of it is not livable.

  • Yeah i seen those...it looks rough out there...is "The Bluff" in NW ATL??? like near GA Tech??

  • Not really..it's across the street from Herndon Homes. If you look at the dome- Vine City is to the left and Tha bluffs is right above- separated by Simpson Rd.

  • That music trying hard to make it look like a nice neighborhood lol.

  • its sad whats happened to these neighborhoods, and the city doesnt care at all...

    props term!

  • HOODSHIT

  • yea I put some classic on my zone 6 video lol

  • man fam how yall & craig2008 be doin' this picture video type shit fam?? I wanna do this shit 4 da C-town this turf right here look like East Highland or da Midside in my city

  • I will check on Columbus for you. If you don't get it up I might. I saw some gutta conditions down there.

  • Hey Term what would you say the worst 3 hoods are in the city (that are still standing) are by your opinion? Id say the bluff, 4th Ward, and Bankhead

if all the hoods were still up I'd say Techwood, East Lake, Perry Homes

  • Worst physical conditions: I would say Tha Bluffs, Dixie Hills, Vine City, and I got to throw in Mechanicsville-

Most Dangerous: Tha Bluffs, 4th Ward, Bankhead (Grove Park, Center Hill, Bankhead Avenue), Washington Park, Lakewood Heights, Kirkwood, Summerhill, Vine City and Southwest.

Too many good neighborhoods to list, but you're on point.

Projects: I definitely agree- Techwood, East Lake Meadows, and Perry Homes.

Did you like that classical music affect? I thought that was hard.
