However, the 2 groups do actually have a connection. Boy George use to be a part of Bow Wow Wow's stage shows performing as Lieutenant Lush until Annabella Lwin got tired of sharing the stage. Boy George then became the front "man" for Culture Club and had a relationship with that groups drummer, Jon Moss.
