freidberger ruined this show , he changed the set layout, cast, music ( barry gray did each epsidoe season one ) scripts. Gerry Anderson , you make garbage now your respect is gone , you once created programs which brought fascination, mystery, now its all crap . Nice to way to end a career.
how true , barry was a serious part in that show, it is because of new prod. freddy kruger freidberger he ruined the show which even the episodic music done by barry gray created a whole kind of feel itself.
What a class act he always was. It's shame enough that his calibre of actor have been dying off so rapidly, it's doubly shameful that their level of both talent AND class are not being replaced in the generations behind them.
Obviously a nice guy and as I've seen a great actor. I knew his acting only from Space 1999and I was always impressed. He was without a doubt the most talented cast member on Space 1999.
When a friend sent me a text with the news that Barry Morse had passed away, I have to admit that I shed a few tears! I had only learned some months previously that Barry was still alive then in his 90th year. The Fugitive was such a phenomenon in my youth in the sixties and I watched it avidly each week with my parents...
Ever since I was a boy, I always thought, who is that specials person in Space 1999. This might sound strange, but he, in his own special way, radiates this warm confidence and presence. It's was the key primary asset of that show. I always wanted to learn more about Barry, but never found the time.
I really hope the media highlights him from time to time. CBC where are you?
BTW, it is wonderful to see the ol' boy so convivial still. I haven't seen him since 'La Femme Nikita'! Why is he not participating in any extras for the "Fugitive" DVD set? Regardless, good health to Barry Morse--and godspeed to the success of his memoir! Tommy Lee Jones owes this man an Oscar.
Note to any producers from CBS/Paramount who may read this: Barry Morse is available and willing record extras for upcoming releases of "The Fugitive" on DVD. Please contact his agents via ICM London. (He has recently recorded the extras for two other of his TV series - "The Adventurer" and "The Zoo Gang").

I had the distinct pleasure to meet him about a year before his death. I doubt I will ever meet anyone so facinating ever again.

Wow. Having been a fan of Mr. Morse for nearly 30 years, I have no words for this rare public appearance. Can I just fall off my chair instead?
