  • freidberger ruined this show , he changed the set layout, cast, music ( barry gray did each epsidoe season one ) scripts. Gerry Anderson , you make garbage now your respect is gone , you once created programs which brought fascination, mystery, now its all crap . Nice to way to end a career.

  • A true legend. He was a BRILLIANT actor. A true craftsman at his art. He did so much for the Canadian dramatic arts scene.

  • Barry I salute you. You'll be remembered.

  • I had the distinct pleasure to meet him about a year before his death. I doubt I will ever meet anyone so facinating ever again.

  • LEGEND !

  • Thank you.

  • Barry's on Moonbase Alpha now. R.I.P old friend.

  • Season 2 of Space 1999 totally sucked in comparison to season 1 because Barry Morse where not in it.

(also, music in season 1 was good, music in season 2 sucked)

  • @MargotSchnyder

how true , barry was a serious part in that show, it is because of new prod. freddy kruger freidberger he ruined the show which even the episodic music done by barry gray created a whole kind of feel itself.

  • "..He's really not dead...as long as we remember him..." A famous quote.

Barry you live on in our hearts my friend.

  • What a class act he always was. It's shame enough that his calibre of actor have been dying off so rapidly, it's doubly shameful that their level of both talent AND class are not being replaced in the generations behind them.

  • When the fugitive was popular he said, "I was the most hated man in america and I loved it".

  • Obviously a nice guy and as I've seen a great actor. I knew his acting only from Space 1999and I was always impressed. He was without a doubt the most talented cast member on Space 1999.

  • I did'n know Barry Morse had passed away. :(

    Thanks for all Barry.

    RIP

  • When a friend sent me a text with the news that Barry Morse had passed away, I have to admit that I shed a few tears! I had only learned some months previously that Barry was still alive then in his 90th year. The Fugitive was such a phenomenon in my youth in the sixties and I watched it avidly each week with my parents...

  • Liked him in Space 1999, he was almost believable as Victor.

    RIP Barry.

  • I LOVE Barry Morse!

  • Rest in Peace, Barry you are in our prayers.

  • I loved his acting in everything he did..Another great one gone. The list of greats is getting shorter and shorter.

  • Ever since I was a boy, I always thought, who is that specials person in Space 1999. This might sound strange, but he, in his own special way, radiates this warm confidence and presence. It's was the key primary asset of that show. I always wanted to learn more about Barry, but never found the time.

I really hope the media highlights him from time to time. CBC where are you?

  • Barry Morse passed away yesterday at the age of 89, RIP

  • Fantastic! So great to see Mr Morse and I've got the book on the way, looking forward to it a great deal. To me, 'Professor Bergman' lives still...

  • a big man ....space 1999 forever hello Barry.

  • A true star. Take a look at him in the Will Hay film "The goose steps out" made in 1942!!!

  • God bless you and grant you many happy years to come, Mr. Morse! I wasn't aware of your book, and will now make every effort to get it.

  • Good to see you! And your high spirited presentation. Best to you Barry.

    Adrian from Buenos Aires

  • Wow. Having been a fan of Mr. Morse for nearly 30 years, I have no words for this rare public appearance. Can I just fall off my chair instead?

  • BTW, it is wonderful to see the ol' boy so convivial still. I haven't seen him since 'La Femme Nikita'! Why is he not participating in any extras for the "Fugitive" DVD set? Regardless, good health to Barry Morse--and godspeed to the success of his memoir! Tommy Lee Jones owes this man an Oscar.

  • Note to any producers from CBS/Paramount who may read this: Barry Morse is available and willing record extras for upcoming releases of "The Fugitive" on DVD. Please contact his agents via ICM London. (He has recently recorded the extras for two other of his TV series - "The Adventurer" and "The Zoo Gang").

  • I hope the book is a success. It is truly good to see Mr. Morse is still with us. Truly good.

  • Happy Birthday Mr Morse!!! Good to see you too!! I grew up watching you and always enjoyed your performances. God Bless and Keep you.
