@Skapo Dude, I think if a guy has a big crash like that, the last thing you wanna do is start moving him around till you know how hurt he is - what if he had broken bones or back trauma? And buddy, I don't mean this disrespectful, but do you even have concrete proof about the whole "oxygen capacity" thing? I mean, it's not like the kid was hyperventilating or anything. In any case, lifting his arms above his head would surely elongate his lungs REDUCING their capacity and making breathing harder

@matbroomfield There actually is proof of that. Just google it man. Putting your hands on or above your head increases your total intake capacity by something like 10%. Its the first thing I learned from my basketball coaches in high school and believe me it has proven more than useful on several occasions. Concerning the back/bones, he was moving fine and the first thing we wanted to make sure of was that he could breathe. Afterward we also checked for dilation in the eyes etc.

@Skapo Thanks for the reply. I know people used to do that in karate (and I used to coach basketball, but never saw it on the court), but you don't see it nowadays. A lot of old school best practices have changed, but I'll take your advice and go look it up. Thanks again for some inspiring videos.
