You are correct when you say the camps were holding camps and nothing more, that's exactly the problem, - nothing more, - no food, no water, no sanitation, no medical aid.
Of course there was some initial resistance but they didnt go about murdering populations and as for the dutch they just weren't civilizing south africa properly so we had to take over from them.

I can promise you that it was infact the British who Started the first concentration camps together with their scorched earth policy whereby they burned the civilian farmhouses, fields, live animals and placed the woman and children in concentration camps.

We dont try and keep it hidden son we just dont care over much. The concentration camps were not setup to kill people but to remove civilians from being able to help the boer soldiers. Same reason as burning the farms. Just a method of destroying the support systems of the enemy. If your trying to equate them with nazi concentration camps your way off the mark.
