Which episode had Samantha in a courtroom, magicking one half (people) and then the other half of the room? So that half the people in the room were hearing a different thing than the other half. Or something like that.
I forgot the title. Or was it that Samantha was magicking what was coming out of a person (laywer?)'s mouth so that the people were hearing something else?
@MrFlamencoguy Believe there was a "trial" in the episode when they went to Salem, then to "old Salem" Also a court scene in the one where they had to defend Ben Franklin when he was zapped to "modern times" from his time by Aunt Clara!
@MrFlamencoguy You're thinking of "Samantha and Darrin In Mexico City" from season 5. Endora "helps" Darrin by improving his Spanish-except every time he speaks a word of Spanish he disappears. When she alters the spell, if he speaks English, he disappears. At the banquet in Mexico City with the stockholders of the client in attendance, Samantha throws in her own "translation" spell allowing half of Darrin's speech to be heard in Spanish and half in English. Larry Tate only hears it in Spanish.
I also love at 2:21 when Darrin's voice changes for the first time. That just cracks me up and also when Larry voice changes at 2:42 and Darrins got that same look on his face he does in other scenes. Dick York has great reactions which shows to me how much a better Darrin he was than Dick Sargeant.
I was just watching this episode today on TV and I was laughing constantly. IT is one of the funniest episodes to me. I love Samantha's expression after they all drink that remedy and that one guy who already has a weird voice says "it didnt do a thing for me" and she has this hilarious look on her face.
@cluvsonj It's there reactions to that guy that's priceless... but one wonders about the writer who conceived that in the first place... it's a total "out of the way" little part in the script that doesn't really move the story at all... it actually distracts! It's a very complicated scenario... and they all do it so well. It takes you out of the moment a little, and it's just so damn funny!
LoL!!! I thought 'Bombay' & 'Unclr Arthur' were The funniest!. xp
