@Alissafy push your clay into the mold until the back is as flat as you can get it. Bake your clay in the mold. Let it cool and remove from the mold, then sand back to get flat and remove imperfections :) hope this helps

I would love to see how you use the plate mold! I have the square one that you have and for the life of me I can't get it out of the mold without distorting the shape!

@Alissafy I just put it in and bake it in the mold :) Most flexible molds can withstand the heat of the polymer clay baking temperature, you can check the brand to see what is the max heat it can withstand, then you can see if you can bake it all together.

With the dust problem, once you have cooked them, you can sand them down to get rid of dust, and then glaze them. Then they will look perfect!
