Future marine this year right here. I am graduating high school with a 3.9 GPA this June, will be deploying somewhere between June 10-December this year. I will be proud to protect my home, family, friends, loved ones, YOU fellow Americans, and the places where i grew up, and your home as well. I am only giving back to the country that gave so much to me. It will be a huge pleasure to do something that will change my life, and protect yours as well.

If I'm not mistaken, I do remember a so called "Commando" retreating from FOB Payne, another refuse to fight at FOB Guinea, seen a couple abandon their vehicle (which by the way was lent to them courtesy of the true Marines, the United States Marines) Respectable yes, commandos, not EVEN close. Remember boys and girls, Marines run TO the sound of the guns!
@ihatekate08 That's rubbish. If it wasnt for the British forces you wouldnt have Marines. Commando's are renown for being one of the most elite forces in the world and they have the longest training. (not saying the marines are bad, just saying a fact.)
I cant wait until are NJROTC class goes to Parris Island for 3 days in April! Sucks that we cant try the mens course. I dont know if im going to the Marine Corps or the Navy. Is there a job where i can work on or fire firearms in both Navy or Marine Corps?
@thepoll599 Navy-SEAL's. Marine Corps- MOS 03 anything 06 (?) anything, 07 anything and I believe 05's carry now too, or maybe they always have....I dunno. Been awhile since I talked bout MOS's lol.
i think marines are the best out there topping all militarys all over the world i think tht they should spend less money on commercials and blues and more and helmet ear pads and better body armor....dont understand why the government would give the least amount of money to the best figthing force

@LuxKadafi - there are programs you can go to the US Marines website to check into these programs. I am not sure what it is about but I do know I have a friend whose husband became a Marine and he was born in Africa. Do your homework - asking on Youtube won't get you the answers.
