  • The old grandmaster looks very chilled to me ^^

  • Just like Hon Gyakudori

  • I like his beard !!!

  • Love the beard

  • good technique!

  • gracies claim to have invented this

  • nice background music :D Linkin Park - runaway

  • this is a good chin na technique, i have trained it in my shaolin hua quan class (shaolin kung fu centers), however, this is where the tai chi comes into place. you can neatralize this technique if, the first thing you do, is go with the flow and step into the person (or rather through the person) remembering to not fight against it, just re-direct it, i have studied how to do that in my chen style tai ji push hands class with dr. aihan kuhn, chinese medicine for health, in massachusetts.

  • This is very good, I cannot understand Chinese at a level to translate this, but just from watching what he is doing, this is very good. Thank you for this.

  • if anyone says this isnt how fight go then tell that to a professional catch as can catch wrestler who is a master of arm drag. they have the exact same reference points. Also im sure suburban brats dont know anything about how a real street fights go down. most of the fan base of mma live confortable lives away from real conflicts

  • I love Chin Na!

  • 这位师傅叫什么名呢? what this sifu name?

  • chin na is beautiful, such simple and obvious moves, which flow easily and have great effect... its made its way aaaaaall the way to Canada, very awesome

  • steven zhao

    stephen chow

    hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

  • @ninjamaster2995 it sounds the same to a westerner, but are completely different for chinese (different characters and different pronunciation).

  • @waldomarek lol yeah one is like chow and the other is like shao

  • reminds me of a chinese version of aikido

  • @divinehysteria07 chin na is much older than aikido, as a matter of fact you can look into the history and see the influence that the chinese arts had on the japanese culture. Also factor in Okinawa as well, and even can look back into india. Regardless, Aikido is a very young perspective on this type of supplemental technique, not taking anything away from any art. Take care.

  • Remember I was here.Thai 9:16PM 4/22/2011

  • Is there a website for this school? I want to find out more about the style, schedule etc. Thanks!

  • Chin Na in almost like China! :-D

  • This teqnique is so great the named there country after it..

  • @Ben1987X uuuhm... what?!

  • jing baij san schan feng dan dien djci chi hai cang ta niao

  • I wouldn't say anything to his face, for fear of him removing mine, but that beard must be fake, its so freaking epic that its inhuman.

  • this guy never had to train martial arts. He simply grew that beard and it gave him all the secrets of the universe

  • Forget his kung fu........I LOVE HIS BEARD!!!

  • where in toronto does this take place?

  • 2115 Midland Ave,Unit 5,Toronto,ON M1P 3E4 (Midland/Progress, at Midland Subway station)

    Tel:416-916-3469

  • thank you very much, i didn't think your youtube account was still active.

  • I like the Linkin Park in the background. :D

    Nice technique, too.

  • @K4tic whats the song from linkin park ?

  • There is a saying in my school... "look for the simularities", they're all the same, just taught differently and come from different places

  • This is a primitive form of Nikkyo from Jujitsu... Its just so amazing how its so similar to the Jujitsu family!

Chin Na seems to be the basis of Jujitsu... I didnt know that until today.

  • actually it's the other way around.

and about Jujitsu. It's called "Da chin na" (mainly focus on shoulder, knee, head etc. Including take down and throwing technics).

And what this video showed is called "Xiao chin na"(take down your opponent by lock their finger, wrist etc)

  • haha... its sad that people believe martial arts has a single source. Fighting is older than all cultures, techniques are merely the dried out stumps of a warrior's experience.

  • Given the proximity of Japan to China, as well as the considerable influence that China has had on Japanese culture, it is very likely that the source of the jujutsu is probably China. China had major influences on Japan's writing, style of dress, food, philosophy and martial arts.

  • chin na is very and very complex if you will watch on the separeted tactical actions, but very intuitive and useable becourse of chinese method of training -- so that was just a simple and very good displayed little basic move (much more good explanation than i've so from jj guys ever). there're thousands such moves in free chinna sanshou.

    //in russian, not chinese

  • Are you sure its no good in real life? Have anyone give you a full hard wrist lock?

  • ho yeah, at 0:20 he does not take control of the elbow, that's when the dummy should moves instead of doing the potato guy.

  • @thornray yea when i get a lil rough with this kid(we friends but just messing around rite) he gets that wrist lock , not that smooth defo no. but it fucking hurts and i tried to hit him but he just ducks and twitsts. ITS FUCKIN PAINFULL

  • @thornray agreed. I'm yet to see a guy brake his wrist and then effectively win in a fight.

  • Not good in real life : no control of the opponent elbow ,this guy will receive an elbow strike in the face when he has his 2 hands on the attacker wrist.

  • Bullshit...Try giving your wrist to him...I bet you cry worst than a girl.

  • I understend the old men is chinese brother of Anatoley Vesserman-famous russion champion in erudition-based games)))))

  • that guy was holding his pain like a girl

  • what school is this? is there a website?

  • Hahaha did you hear the guy on the floor groan everytime he tightened the hold

  • What is the 1st basic technique usually taught to a total beginner in this martial art. ?

  • very nice very basic. this is good stuff. not sure what all the haters are mumbling about.

  • is this traininjg or playing

  • Just playing to break their wrists, thats all.

  • wanna play?

  • lol Sarcasm isn't easy to tell over the internet. It was a joke, of course this is dangerous stuff. :D Chin Na is a great art, and I like it a lot :p

  • psh amitures grand master of young style taichi wang can own these guys

  • Why do Americans always have to talk trash? Can't we change our image a bit

  • Exactly! We have to be so snobby, but then some little chinese guy comes and kicks our butts.

I've gone over to the asian side and i'm known for it in my school XD

  • @warfox777 Hey, hey, it's not just us who talk trash.

  • @warfox777 you said it. here in Germany, the politicians say "we need to be more friendly towards Americans, we shall not drift into an Anti-Americanism" .... but our politicians are liars, corrupt idiots or plagiarists. and that is the exact problem, cause many people generalize America because of the stupid politicians like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin. wake up, america, wake up, E.U, cause all they're fucking doing is fucking using you.

  • @rAFiCoRe That's funny because as a Malaysian, I actually LOVE america because of the people you mention. The ones I hate are the liberal wankers over there (like Obama) as well as those socialist scums in Europe. I don't generalize Americans because I don't believe everything I see in the media (which is dominated by the left wingers). Wake up, the liberal media is brainwashing you.

  • @fuckyoucibaikia

Actually the media is dominated by warmongering right wingers thats why we have a bullshit war on terror which is actually a war to grab other countries oil and resources. You're the one being brainwashed mate. And my country and the American establishment are very good at it. Its called divide and conquer. What right did the British have in your country or any other?

  • @warfox777

    hehe

  • @warfox777 America is an immigrant country which is full of people who are not satisfied with their lives in their own countries. Their personalities are just unhappy.

  • poor guy ouched three times

  • This guy face scares me. He looks like a bad guy in a chinese movie.

  • Great footage

  • you've gotta love body language!

  • Very clear - nice technique

  • good vídeo!

  • didnt understand a freaking word, but got the idea ;)

  • everyone understands ouch lol
