When I wanted to replace my $30 Estee Lauder blush with something cheaper I found the Milani Sunset duos blush& bronzer in a perfect color match Sunset Glow. I could not believe the quality of the Milani blush because it is like department store blush in a cheaper package. I will never go back to $30 blush!

oh, I have the same lipstick. I used to love it. then I took it on vacations with me and I left it on the luggage and it melted a bit so the staying power reduced A LOT. I gotta buy a new one someday

I work at CVS, well not as of last week, but anyways.. they put those stickers on it because they are trying to seel out of those items because they are changing the displays around. They will stay overnight soon and change everything around, so they try to sell as much stuff so they have less stuff to move. They aren't discontinuing it!

Generally there's always something "buy one get one free" or "buy one get one half off". I think they just rotate through the brands and it seems to change on a weekly basis

How interesting! I saw the same thing at my CVS the other day! I purchased the same shade of Milani Smoothie gloss, and I LOVE it! Its such a pretty color, and not terribly sticky. What a good find! I hope those things are not getting discontinued. That is always such a bummer!

and who doesn't love a total bargain? But the reason this stuff is all going cheaper is because Loreal, Milani (owned by L'oreal), Sally Hansen, Neutorgena and Mabelline all still conduct animal testing :(

But you have some great stuff that is from companies that are listed w/Peta as No Test companies like Wet'n Wild and e.l.f.

i'm sorry if the eyeliner looks harsh on here. This is after a day of work- I anchor a morning newscast and it is necessary to put it on a little heavier under that lighting or else it really doesn't show up at all. it's odd how it works. i suppose as a "makeup guru" on here i should put that out there for people, but i guess i just don't always thing about it

Emily!! Yes yes yes, I used the Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara and LOVED it, why in the world did they do away with that one??! I also use Lash Out and LOVE it... It lengthens and even though it doesn't say it it thickens as well.... I am now using the Lash Blast but Lash Out will always be in my makeup kit along with Voluminous, those are my 3 favorites, infact I did a vid today and I had on one coat of the Lash Blast and the second with the Lash Out.. not sure you can see my lashes.

CVS always marks down items in early January and other times of the year (I'm blanking lol, some time in the summer?) to clear their shelves of older makeup and put in newer ones. Just try and look at the expiration dates! Thanks for the heads up. I nearly forgot. Hope my stores still have some good deals! =)

It amazes me how many women walk in Sallies, and do not have a Sallie's card. They could be saving so much for that 5 dolarsa year. You get that back and more easily. I think that some are under the misconception that they have to be a beautician or something!

Always look in the CVS flyer as soon as you come in the door. CVS had all kinds of Make-up for sale. I bought quite a few items yesterday myself while waiting on a prescription for my baby. I checked out some of the brushes too.... It is always good when you can get a great mascara for $4.00 or free!
