@Cabal1011, The issue isn't laziness AFAIK. Look at games like Grand Fantasia. They can pump out any number of new classes and its all statistics, no models involved if they use the same equipment as other classes. Its all animation and programming with very little art. Classes on DFO involve MASSIVE amounts of time drawing sprite sheets. Look at any class just jumping once and take a look at the frame count on just their pants. It's a HUGE amount of effort to animate that much content.

If Male mages were ever promised, They'd probably look like Fem. Mages just shorter hair and for Female Slayers, They just should make it cuz I mean cmon. It'll look like the Thief+Grandis I guess. Male Fighters are most likely going to be adedd to DFO within like, a year. If not, then that's just heart breaking :P

hmm I don't know if you understand Korean or if this was discussed earlier on cause I don't feel like going back all the comments to see if it did but this was not a promise video looks like. The words at the end of the video says something like "in 2009 we will make you have fun" which is like we will be bring you fun stuff but does not say in the video that "we are releasing male slayer this year" or etc.

They're not lazy, they have multiple projects to work on so their workforce is distributed accordingly. Sure...most mmos have both genders available. MOST mmos use 3d models...polygons...not sprites. Like GTO said, they have to draw the damn sprites frame by frame. In models, you worry about animations and some clipping.

1) This is going off of the Korean/Japanese versions. They don't even have male fighters, female ghost knights (slayers in US) They only have the female gunner so far. And a new female class called thief

2) Loli mage is always gona be loli mage. Priest got a new look. His new standard look is MUCH better than his old one.

Oh and all the alternate gender classes have their own specials. Just look at the Female Gunner VS a Male.

Those character ideas were part of Hangame team, which was scrapped when Neople switched to Nexon. Thief is entirely neople's team which is why it was released so fast.
