Actually the only character I don't like is Vincent. I don't know why, cause everyone says he's awesome, but every time he's in my party everything seems to take a dozen times longer, and everything seems a third harder then normal. Besides his character isn't all that great anyways.

Personally Tifa and Yuffie are the ones usually in my party, although Tifa is often switched for Barret or Cid.

1. zero health points = dead.

2. you get a gameover, meaning the story ends there. you're dead.

when one of you are KO'd in battle someone can heal you. and even in X after the battle you are revived with 1 HP. but if all character are KO'd then no one can use a phinex down, and therefor the fiends could just kill you without any trouble so you are considered dead from the instant the final ally falls.

also there are other situations backing my theory up. like in the battle arenas when all of you fall you don't loose you just fail the arena.

@NeoSephirothOmega see thats the thing with FF or any other game that has a "life restore" item, theres no differentiating between a dead person or a knocked out person, only what the developers say it is. As for what COULD be for the 1hp after battle, there are many items and spells to heal, and maybe 3-4 items/spells to revive. helps player avoid to depend on those 3-4 methods just to get the party back up.

and arena= a side game.

in short, go look online for answer and satisfy urself
