Just to let you guys know of Munetaka's sense of humor.. I saw them live for the third time in 2006 (Fayetteville, NC) he began playing Grand Funk's "We're An American Band" drum solo intro.. and I laughed also I think I was the only one who got the joke.

As far as metal drummers go, he was one of the few that actually had skill. Sadly age, and health + emotional problems took a beating on him from around 2002 onwards which effected his performances quite a bit, but he always stayed a true drummer, none of this shit double pedal nonsense that destroys the purpose of the drummer in music!
