  • @utdfortreble "I look like one of the proclaimers!? Theyre twins ya daft cunt!"

  • @mike28neill They're distinguishable and you could easily believe that they were not identical twins. So it would be wrong for anyone to say 'I look like both of the Proclaimers'. See the pic that came with the vid. ydc

  • Scottish accent rocks

  • @pherluf

Sure it is, I just don't understand a thing of it!

    Btw it is...

  • @pherluf take it ur noo scottish then, by ur tone xx

  • @pherluf It really does :D although I prefer David Tennant's. Do you know anything about Scottish accents and regions? Like what region is the Proclaimers accent from? And what David Tennant's is from? Or any other Scottish people.

  • @moogle301 They're from Edinburgh, Scotland - lived in Scotland Street ( not made up ) Hibernian F.C -Sunshine On Leith - amazing live - Ah Huh - do the best you can big dog ;)

  • @moogle301 As far as I know the Proclaimers were brough up in Auchtermuchty in Fife about 20 miles North East from Edinburgh. I met someone a few years ago who told me he was in the same class at school. So I would guess that is where there accent is from. David Tennent is from Bathgate (midway between Edinburgh and Glasgow in the central belt of scotland) In the other direction from Fife. If you move 20 miles in the UK you can notice a difference in the accent and dialect.

  • @pherluf What's like us.......Glasgow ferever

  • @robandrene Hibs are from Embra?

  • Whenever I hear this, I think of the end of the Colin McRae Rally Legend DVD tribute part =(

  • @forteriedude2010

Colin McRae died 15th Sept 2007, along with his son and 2 friends. The helicopter he was piloting crashed.

  • How old was he?

  • 39 years, 1 month, 10 days.

  • Do you think they've visited Specsavers??

  • @ScotiaAdonis LMAO

  • I love them so much.

  • Love it Love it Love it......Thanks for posting.

  • Very good song... RIP Colin...

  • @weegeemc who?

  • @athull08

    Colin McRae D;

  • Oh of course, this was played at his funeral, I forgot about that

  • these guys write fabulous songs

  • Their purely Scottish pronunciation is pretty curious to say the least. When singing, they say 'way' like 'wee' and 'day' like 'dee', which highlights that English language is quite rich in ways it may be talked, no matter what place on Earth you come from.

Having said that, 'The proclaimers' is for sure one of my favourite bands of all times, as well as this song, along with '500 miles' (perhaps the most famous one ever)

  • @Rifenbeiker yes I totaly agree with you and I add one nice word - appines :D

  • The Proclaimers are Scottish National Treasures. I love them. Their songs are so uplifting. I hate doom & gloom. You can't help but smile when you hear them :0)

  • Nothing wrong with being a Scotsman thanks very much!!
