What on earth is brundle talking about? That was a dick move from montoya, everybody understeers into that corner and contact was inevitable but luckily for montoya he escaped unscathed when he really should have been in the gravel but instead schumi dropped back 3 positions..
u people need to know how hard it is to keep the brake pedal holded on so that the car doesnt turn off. even though i montoya is like my favorite driver when he used to race in f1, this is an amazing skill by schumi
can anyone guess what would have happened if this was Hamilton instead of Montoya? Wait I know. A bunch of homos going "Ugh! fucking Ramilton is dangerous, he'll kill somebody, ugh!"
Totally agreed. In fact Montoya is pratically considered the F1 2003 World Champion. He had to fight against blu ferrari ,absourd penalties by ferrari fia and also we have to consider that while schumacher had also always a slave teammate on the contrary the first opponent of Montoya was right his useless teammate always disturbing. No doubt ,Montoya has shown what does it mean to be strongest of the full establishment. Simply the best after Senna
And people tell me Montoya is a great overtaker, look what he does all the time, nothing but incidents, everytime I see him overtaking someone he causes incidents, and I'm not saying that because I'm favoring someone or some manufacturer.
@Tranzorr Michael went wide into Montoya's car. Look at where he is corner entry then midcorner. He went in tight then went wide into Montoya just before they touched. Michael's usual shenanigans backfired this time I'm sorry to say.

@mgarofano Brave, yes, talented, no. Schumacher challenged Senna, did Montoya? That's right. Montoya could barely stay ahead of Kimi, in fact Montoya should be the "useless teammate" as he did nothing but crash into Ralf Schumacher.
@azmichael34 listen you little fing cock sucking uphill farmer, schumacher isn,t even german his mum got fcked by some russian he,s a cheat, senna and montoya were a differn,t era. your post is flawed like your brain. don,t come on here again chating your crap.....now f:ck off!
@daddylister MY post is flawed? Your post is incorrect in so many ways. Your grammar, spelling, and your facts. I take it you're anti-Schumi? Besides, blame Flavio Briatore for the cheating. And they didn't even fine Benetton for TC.
@brav0wing sure it is. It seems Kevin Harvick (know him?) had a bad opinion of JPM and his "style" too..He said JP was involved in pretty ALL dirty situations in Sprint Cup..haha. Anyway, seriously, Montoya has never been close to win a F1 championship. Never. All other things are opinions. ;)
@filippinator He was very close to winning 2003 championship if it wasn't for the penalty against Barichello in Brasil I think. That penalty cost him the championship. He drove brilliantly that year and had a good car in the second part of the season. It's not an opinion, it's fact, since in the second part of the season he closed the gap against schumacher and also led the championship if i'm not mistaken for a few races.

@renvon Your consideration is reasonable but at the same time denote you didn't see very much F1.Differently you surely would know about the shameful dirty game against Montoya. He had to fight against much more "opponents". Blu Ferrari (sauber) always helping Schumacher, against Barrichello always working by contract just to help Schumacher and against absurd penalties by "Judges " and he also had more his useless teammate disturbing .With all that he was pratically WC in 2003.Super Attitude
That's what you call home field advantage. A lot of drivers would have probably just given up. Schumacher kept the engine running and tried to make the best out of a fucked up situation. That's skill as well.
I thought the rule was: You can receive assistance if you're NOT in a dangerous position, and not the other way around. The idea being the marshals aren't putting themselves at risk. Having said that, I see nothing wrong with MS's getting a push. Clearly it took less time than hoisting the car away.
It's pretty obvious, though, that Schumacher's contact with Montoya was intentional. So I would have rather not seen him get pushed back on track.
@foxtrotalphaone The rule is that you can't help a car in that position is they assist in restarting the car. That's why Schumacher and Hamilton (in 2007) were allowed to continue racing, because they kept the engine running. Also, the Ferrari was in a "dangerous position", which means his car has to be moved. If his car wasn't, he couldn't have rejoined. No Ferrari bias... Get over it!
The pushing of Schumacher was allowed. At the time, and I think still today, you can ask the marshals to push you back on the track when the engine is still running.
@KuostA buddy.... " focusing on the car that is ahead of u n paying attention to ur braking zones AND LOOKING AT THE PITBOARD" its all part of the job ...n if u cant do that, WHAT THE FUCK R U DOING THERE?? i, myself am a racecar driver ( not an F1 driver )n those r things that u get used to
@f1fan84 you're an idiot. it has nothing to do with their job or not. it's about it being simply physically impossible to see the small ass sign going at 150+ mph down the backstrait. its simply impractical and inefficient when you have a radio.
@KuostA ya okay it is impossible....hahaha u know what im done talking to u ,god what do u know about driving racecars on the daily basis? u probably drive ur car from home to work n thats it .n the only racing experience u have its the rental karts from ur town.idiot its not impractical u get times of every lap n the gap between u n the car behind u , the team will not wanna bother u every time u pass by the start/finish line on the radio tellin u this things
Ah Michael you hope to push JPM to the gravel but, instead it was you who end that there!!. Who ironic. In the mean time the FIA: "Don´t worry Michael, someone will push you out, even if that person is NOT a marshall".The insidious politics of F1 at their best. The truth prevails MONTOYEAH.
None of you have listened this properly. To start with, Brundle thinks they touched, but then after the other angles we were shown says Michael just got it wrong & got sideways. Neither car jolts if you look closely, and there's not even a puff of tyre smoke. Racing each other into the corner would probably have meant they were carrying more speed than usual, and so yes, Schumacher-with his tighter turning angle, just spun. Simple as that.
The FIA clarified the ruling about "pushing" cars, so n
@shredderkrang There is clear contact between MS front wing and JM front right. MS could have held his tight inside-line but elected to let the car drift lightly of its line out to squeeze JM back and it didn't work out for him. That's F1. All other top drivers would have done the same in either position. No foul either way.
I think i know why Schumi spun instead of Montoya,Its possible that the Ferrari had too much body roll on the car,Body Roll is when there is a load transfer in the car and it forces it towards the outside of the corner plus the touch from Montoya's car then contributed and was enough to make the Ferrari spin
Haaaa scumacher bit Montoya and try to send him out ,but Montoya in this incredible overtake move shows also his attitude to manage the car in a such difficult situation , and the cheater schumacher goes out of the track .
@Drenwickification Erm sorry to bump in but i think it's contracdictory what you said,or wont you think that as it's a dangerous position as you said, we could have being witness of a very costly push.Eg Monaco, marshall dies, shredded litteraly as he was collecting debris, whiles the safety car was on track.I also remember FA at Monza NO a thing or anyone come to push or taking the car out,Hmm rules? or championship... Finally then, why the forklif was there in the first place...obvious innit.
@mgarofano Why calling Schumacher a cheater? shut your mouth. and there was nothing "difficult" about going around, that is what drivers get millions payed for. I sure know that Montoya started bitching if Schumacher did this to him, because he could never accept being a loser!
@mgarofano Wow was that a slap i just heard !!.Trully hurts them when we called MS a cheater, which it's true. That's what MS has left to his beloved-blinfolded fans.Enjoy his legacy and enjoy this colosal pass Juan more time as this will remain forever MONTOYEAH.
@mgarofano He also won the title that year and Juan didn't. The "cheater" won seven in total. I was a big Montoya fan but your pathetically immature comments are laughable.
@MrThreshold2009 I heard no statements by you ,go to study and try to understand what happened ,differently ,as usual like some other funny boy fan , ...well, ...differently , simply ...very poor comment funny boy .Go to study and grow up.
Schumacher starts swaaaaaaaaaying to the outside in the middle of the corner, traditionally of course. many drivers have commented on this he does it frequently.
It is quite funny that Brundle, who was a good racer, can't see what happened - it seems to me this was one of the times Brundle and Schumacher didn't like each other.
Schumacher and Montoya touch, and when two cars touch, it is often the most "turning" car that spins - this is usually the outside, but because Montoya had already straightened the wheel, and Schumacher hadn't, Schumacher was turning way more and he spun. That is what I get from that episode, at least.
To case is not it prohibited that the auxiliary ones of track help to a car to return to the carreara?? ... truth that is Scumacher ... this stayed in view of the whole world .. and there are people who still thinks that Schumacher is not a thief
I'm sorry, but that is not English. You write something about Schumacher being a thief, that's what I could understand from your comment. Could you try to get someone to check your sentences for you?
Oh now I get it, you are saying that it is against the rules that he is being pushed by the stewards - I agree that it is strange that there was no case at all, but I personally think it is a sucky rule - the people want to see racing, not drivers digging themselves in the gravel traps.
And that in this case for being Michael Scumacher, the clause I stay in nothing ... and that stayed in view of the whole world... Scumacher is a thief.. BMW invested millions in his engine P 83 Schumacher it he knew that it he had to play dirtily and there are people who still defends it..
if you watch the FIA 2003 review, ross brawn calls that a "crude overtaking maneuver" what a little BITCH. michael clearly entered the corner with too much speed and understeered into montoya. im glad to see montoya go on
That's just fucking unbelievable!, in fact there's 2 unbelievable scenes here, the 1srt is the hipperstance pass by JPM and the other on the contrary and totally wrong was allowed him back on the race, who is that with shores at 0:50. Also watch carefully MS try's to push JPM out, the same dirty trick that MS did at JV in 97. Furtunally justice was done and justice was true, Still who that fuck was that one on shores.Hmm I remmenber FA spun at Monza and no one,not one helping out.
nono. the penaltys in 08 were right becos hamilton hit raikkonen, he cut a chicane in france and spa, the 1st turn in japan and last race with glock. in 09 the lies in australia. in 07 in bahrein they damaged alonso's car, in monaco hamilton dissobey team orders like in hungary, in japan hamilton did the idiot behind the SC, in china alonso's tyre pressure and in brazil a slower car for him
well in the United States they said mclaren had asked the FIA if the way hamilton let raikkonen back by at spa was legit and they said it was ok, only to be penalized after the race. fuji was absolute bull shit, he was just late on the brakes. idk about the 2007 stuff. where did you learn about the bahrain and china incidents of '07. i did hear alonso ripped a door off the hinges in the mclaren motorhome-lol-badass.
in china alonso said it after the qualifying. in bahrain now i don't remember who. and i remember now that in indianapolis the team didn't let him overtake hamilton and that in spa they left open the oil cap before qualifying
they left open the oil cap, thats unbelievable. how could've that happened. but at indianapolis it seems alonso was just beaten but idk. no wonder he was keen on supporting ferrari and had that late season run last year. last four races of '08 for alonso- 1st, 1st, 4th, 2nd
Alonso tried and tried to get by Lewis at Indy 07. There were absolutely no team orders for him to stay behind Hamilton.
And even if there were, what does that tell you that a team like McLaren would put their eggs in a Rookie's basket, instead of a two-time World Champion.
7 years later, world champ! he was 16 back then...

f1fan84 1 year ago
@f1fan84 you're an idiot. it has nothing to do with their job or not. it's about it being simply physically impossible to see the small ass sign going at 150+ mph down the backstrait. its simply impractical and inefficient when you have a radio.
KuostA 1 year ago
@KuostA ya okay it is impossible....hahaha u know what im done talking to u ,god what do u know about driving racecars on the daily basis? u probably drive ur car from home to work n thats it .n the only racing experience u have its the rental karts from ur town.idiot its not impractical u get times of every lap n the gap between u n the car behind u , the team will not wanna bother u every time u pass by the start/finish line on the radio tellin u this things
cheers

Ah Michael you hope to push JPM to the gravel but, instead it was you who end that there!!. Who ironic. In the mean time the FIA: "Don´t worry Michael, someone will push you out, even if that person is NOT a marshall".The insidious politics of F1 at their best. The truth prevails MONTOYEAH.

What that looked like was MS trying to pit Montoya. I'm not a montoya fan, but this was MS's fault.
op3l 1 year ago
None of you have listened this properly. To start with, Brundle thinks they touched, but then after the other angles we were shown says Michael just got it wrong & got sideways. Neither car jolts if you look closely, and there's not even a puff of tyre smoke. Racing each other into the corner would probably have meant they were carrying more speed than usual, and so yes, Schumacher-with his tighter turning angle, just spun. Simple as that.
The FIA clarified the ruling about "pushing" cars, so n
shredderkrang 1 year ago
@shredderkrang There is clear contact between MS front wing and JM front right. MS could have held his tight inside-line but elected to let the car drift lightly of its line out to squeeze JM back and it didn't work out for him. That's F1. All other top drivers would have done the same in either position. No foul either way.

This push is bull shit! If they hadn't of done it Raikkonen would of been champion! Cheating git that he is!
fantarule 1 year ago
I think i know why Schumi spun instead of Montoya,Its possible that the Ferrari had too much body roll on the car,Body Roll is when there is a load transfer in the car and it forces it towards the outside of the corner plus the touch from Montoya's car then contributed and was enough to make the Ferrari spin
MclarenGooner10 1 year ago
well if he wasn't schumi, they would never had pushed him to road...

Haaaa scumacher bit Montoya and try to send him out ,but Montoya in this incredible overtake move shows also his attitude to manage the car in a such difficult situation , and the cheater schumacher goes out of the track .
mgarofano 1 year ago 18
@mgarofano Tbh I don't like schumacher but I don't think any rules were broken imo.
His car was obviously in a dangerous position and so he was allowed to be pushed.
Drenwickification 8 months ago
@Drenwickification Erm sorry to bump in but i think it's contracdictory what you said,or wont you think that as it's a dangerous position as you said, we could have being witness of a very costly push.Eg Monaco, marshall dies, shredded litteraly as he was collecting debris, whiles the safety car was on track.I also remember FA at Monza NO a thing or anyone come to push or taking the car out,Hmm rules? or championship... Finally then, why the forklif was there in the first place...obvious innit.
TOXICTRACE 8 months ago
@mgarofano Why calling Schumacher a cheater? shut your mouth. and there was nothing "difficult" about going around, that is what drivers get millions payed for. I sure know that Montoya started bitching if Schumacher did this to him, because he could never accept being a loser!

@DutchieKev your "comment" with your " statements" is the comment of yourself and obviously surely it doesn't deserve any other answer.

TOXICTRACE 8 months ago
@TOXICTRACE totally agreed. You said everything. They understand now how a cheater schumacher was and the true hurt them deeply.
mgarofano 8 months ago
@mgarofano He also won the title that year and Juan didn't. The "cheater" won seven in total. I was a big Montoya fan but your pathetically immature comments are laughable.
MrThreshold2009 8 months ago
@MrThreshold2009 I heard no statements by you ,go to study and try to understand what happened ,differently ,as usual like some other funny boy fan , ...well, ...differently , simply ...very poor comment funny boy .Go to study and grow up.

@mgarofano You need to study English a bit better otherwise supposedly witty retorts you imagine just look like a distorted mess.
You are clearly utterly biased and so you comments are null and void.

Schumacher starts swaaaaaaaaaying to the outside in the middle of the corner, traditionally of course. many drivers have commented on this he does it frequently.
FRFM00 2 years ago
Lolzilol123 that is BS!
1st: Look at 1:20, JBM turns right.
2nd: The INSIDE car is the more "turning" one, because the line is shorter. Smaller radius, smaller ambit, less "turning".
Paccooon 2 years ago
It is quite funny that Brundle, who was a good racer, can't see what happened - it seems to me this was one of the times Brundle and Schumacher didn't like each other.
Schumacher and Montoya touch, and when two cars touch, it is often the most "turning" car that spins - this is usually the outside, but because Montoya had already straightened the wheel, and Schumacher hadn't, Schumacher was turning way more and he spun. That is what I get from that episode, at least.
Lolzilol123 2 years ago
To case is not it prohibited that the auxiliary ones of track help to a car to return to the carreara?? ... truth that is Scumacher ... this stayed in view of the whole world .. and there are people who still thinks that Schumacher is not a thief
LONJAPERFECTA 2 years ago
I'm sorry, but that is not English. You write something about Schumacher being a thief, that's what I could understand from your comment. Could you try to get someone to check your sentences for you?
Lolzilol123 2 years ago
forgives ... that is prohibited that auxiliary of runway help to a car to return to the race after a mishap..
LONJAPERFECTA 2 years ago
Oh now I get it, you are saying that it is against the rules that he is being pushed by the stewards - I agree that it is strange that there was no case at all, but I personally think it is a sucky rule - the people want to see racing, not drivers digging themselves in the gravel traps.
Lolzilol123 2 years ago
And that in this case for being Michael Scumacher, the clause I stay in nothing ... and that stayed in view of the whole world... Scumacher is a thief.. BMW invested millions in his engine P 83 Schumacher it he knew that it he had to play dirtily and there are people who still defends it..

if you watch the FIA 2003 review, ross brawn calls that a "crude overtaking maneuver" what a little BITCH. michael clearly entered the corner with too much speed and understeered into montoya. im glad to see montoya go on
hash626 2 years ago
That's just fucking unbelievable!, in fact there's 2 unbelievable scenes here, the 1srt is the hipperstance pass by JPM and the other on the contrary and totally wrong was allowed him back on the race, who is that with shores at 0:50. Also watch carefully MS try's to push JPM out, the same dirty trick that MS did at JV in 97. Furtunally justice was done and justice was true, Still who that fuck was that one on shores.Hmm I remmenber FA spun at Monza and no one,not one helping out.

and MS parking in monaco 06, alonso "blocking" massa in italy 06 and all cheats in mclaren 07, 08 and 09
Pakillo027 2 years ago
what do you mean by "cheats in mclaren." sure they were disqualified in '07 but in '08 they were legit and suffered some bull shit penaltys
hash626 2 years ago
nono. the penaltys in 08 were right becos hamilton hit raikkonen, he cut a chicane in france and spa, the 1st turn in japan and last race with glock. in 09 the lies in australia. in 07 in bahrein they damaged alonso's car, in monaco hamilton dissobey team orders like in hungary, in japan hamilton did the idiot behind the SC, in china alonso's tyre pressure and in brazil a slower car for him
Pakillo027 2 years ago
well in the United States they said mclaren had asked the FIA if the way hamilton let raikkonen back by at spa was legit and they said it was ok, only to be penalized after the race. fuji was absolute bull shit, he was just late on the brakes. idk about the 2007 stuff. where did you learn about the bahrain and china incidents of '07. i did hear alonso ripped a door off the hinges in the mclaren motorhome-lol-badass.
hash626 2 years ago
in china alonso said it after the qualifying. in bahrain now i don't remember who. and i remember now that in indianapolis the team didn't let him overtake hamilton and that in spa they left open the oil cap before qualifying
Pakillo027 2 years ago
they left open the oil cap, thats unbelievable. how could've that happened. but at indianapolis it seems alonso was just beaten but idk. no wonder he was keen on supporting ferrari and had that late season run last year. last four races of '08 for alonso- 1st, 1st, 4th, 2nd
hash626 2 years ago
Alonso tried and tried to get by Lewis at Indy 07. There were absolutely no team orders for him to stay behind Hamilton.
And even if there were, what does that tell you that a team like McLaren would put their eggs in a Rookie's basket, instead of a two-time World Champion.
