Yes, it's possible, but pretty hot. I'd recommend leather jacket, coz only in this case elbow protections cant turnaround while slididing the the road, leaving your elbows without protection.

@allendwight The Wave Pro 2 will be solid under a leather jacket in the colder months, but I'd recommend wearing a protective mesh jacket with the armor taken out over top of the Wave jacket in the summer. While the Wave provides excellent impact protection, it will not protect you from abrasion and neither will a t-shirt, so something like the Air-Frame, Air-Flux or Air-2 jackets from Dainese (with the armor removed) will provide that missing piece of protection.
