I think you need to have a bronzer, probably in golden and also the 191 foundation/concealer brush which was re-released with studio scuplt, and studio sculpt foundation is great also :) x

"Supernova" Mascara by "Fresh" is the BEST mascara I've ever tried.

It's more expensive, about $22 at Sephora, but it's worth it. I've tried mascara by Bare Minerals, Urban Decay, and Too Faced, and they just DONT COMPARE! Check it out if you ever feel so inclined.

i think fix + is a great thing to have in a MAC starter kit. you can use it for so many things (mixing medium, skin refresher, hair, etc.). i'm one of those people who is just starting to build their makeup collection (i have a lot of other brands but i only have about 10 mac products) and i honestly don't know how i lived without fix + :)

i agree with your comment about MAC mascaras. They're horrible, clumpy, smudgey and flakey. Maybelline mascaras and Lancome Virtuouse are so much better

I would say that nylon eye shadow is another great highlight color next to brule. Also, vanilla pigment is a must from my perspective since you could use it in many different way; for instance, as highlight on ur cheeks or brow bone or as an eye shadow even.

for my water line I prefer to use Revlon Colorstay Powder Shadow duo in smoke, the color is much brighter and last longer than an eye pencil. I couldn't find it in stores any more so I'm thinking of trying Urban decay's cream eye shadows. I was able to find the Revlon duo online so I am definitely buying more backups because truly this is the best thing you can use for the water line. You should really try , you will never use pencils again

i have the mac studio sculpt concealer and to be honest i would not re-buy. for the money i dont think it applys very good. when applied over my blemishes they are still visible underneath, and it doesnt cover undereye circles. i have better drugstore brands.

I agree MAC mascara's do nothing for me nor has any client I have ever used it on wanted to know what mascara it was. I stopped using it! Only other thing I'd say is to try MAC's mixing medium/water based. Just a drop on a brush (I love the 242) and BAM your shadow goes from blah to intense and stays stuck on your eye. I've used Visine and something in MAC's mixing medium allows it to work better and stay better :-)
