If you get a gecko, Cresteds are the perfect starter. Though they can be expensive, they are pretty good with hands, and very easy to care for. They are nocturnal, though. Iguanas are a nice pet to have, but you have to be prepared to spend a lot of money on them. As they grow bigger, their messes do too. Beardies are a nice starter lizard, too. Though, Im not so sure because ive never owned one before. Well good luck with whatever you get. :)
shes a sweet girl, glad you took her in, i do iguana rescue and education, check out my videos sometime covering feeding, lighting, mine igs and my fosters over the last 18 years
My keech always looks above but never past my right shoulder when I enter his room. The amount of interest he shows in this paticular area of my personal space is very obvious. He'll look me up and down but will return his gaze at the same spot several times b4 his attention is diverted by something else. That and I sense that he knows more than he lets on. neone have similar happenings? badass ig thnx for posting.
love and vigilance. Your untaimed Ig will do everything in his power to harm you while you handle him. Just remember who has the most power. And "wow thats kinda nice" ur ig will soon say if you laiden your touch with love everytime you handle him. Also I have come to theorize that iguanas (mine for sure) can see auras, therefore (experiment and you will see) that your mood (wether obvious or not) will affect the degree of success or failure of yalls handling session.
i adopted one myself from a relative that did not have the time to take care of or get her out for that matter. check my channel under "feeding time". she is 7yrs old. Was utilized as a class pet at one point
