@QrRage There are currently half a dozen vertical layouts on the site. When choosing a template, simply click the "Vertical Templates" link in the top right hand corner of the pop-up window.
Hello all, it is also beneficial to know who is scanning the QR barcode that is on your business card. To this end, a program at barcodeconnections. com allows you to track:
1. How many people scan your QR code. (Total number and unique scans)
2. Where people scan your barcode. (The geographic location)
3. When people scan your barcode. (Hour by hour, in realtime)
We've found it has been very useful for folks, and we encourage you to check Barcode Connections out.
well i do agree but keep in mind in china all the kids want to become buisness men in thhe us kids dont care about there future so im not suprised that china is progressing the have smarter sciencists"almost"
and if u are at a convention more than 2/3rds of ppl there wont have one so will be stuck jotting their # dwn and wen u hand them ur card they will b like "wtf is that square...ur company symbol?" so u will b suck telling 150 wat the square is and how 2 use it :P i kno ill b eating my words. in like a year ill b in the club or sonthin ask a chick her # and get one of these f'in things. like "dam u didnt care enuff to tell me" but aside from being impractical now they r kinda cool
You don't need to explain anything. Instructions on how to use are printed right on the back of every card you hand out. All you have to do is tell people to see the back for more information.
Cannot see the practical applications for this. Chances of a prospect that I hand my business card to will unlikely take the time to download the reader for his phone, and then take a picture of the card.
tho kind cool its not practical. only home business owners for like amway cud use this, cuz i mean com on. how many regular everyday people go to a networking event or convention of some kind.its not like ud b at a Yankee game and get into a convo with the guy next to u nd b like "yo we shud hang out some time" he b like "N!**@, did u just ask me out on a date!" "uhhh...heres my card".
WOW! I THOUGHT THIS WAS A JOKE! i just went to the website... to see if it actually existed...1st surprise, its an actual site (ha!) 2nd surprise, they were serious about the cards. u cn make nd order them there lol.
Not only is it a real site where you can create and order your very own but if you enter the discount code "CONNECTIONCARD" at check out you'll receive a 10% discount off your entire order.
but then you have to still retype the card information....i think the point is that it reads the card info and you don't have to type in the info. i've seen a few folks around the city (nyc) with this and thought it was an interesting bit of technology (you are at a networking event and you get 4-6 cards .... it's a whole lot easier to essentially scan the cards as versus spending the hour typing all the info in)
brooks718 nailed it on the head. By scanning the code and creating a contact, all the information is stored in a format your phone understands. If you want to call the number simply tap on it and the phone starts dialing. To email the individual, tap their address and a new message is opened with the "To" field already filled in etc.
A picture of a business card is just a static file. The best you can do is view it, write down the phone number, start a new call then key in the phone number.
Good Job!

Very nice. Will you have a vertical template soon? I will need biz cards soon, will try your company and then review it if that's ok.

A few months ago I was manually converting business cards into Microsoft Outlook that my manager'd amassed before my employment.
Wish they were designed like this then!!!!!!
Time is money.

Google Goggles for Android can read text and QR code and add them to your contacts. I love Android.

In the time it took to go through these instructions, I could have just typed it into my contact list. I doubt this is going to take off in the USA
