This version has got many similarities with 'The Mix' version but far more experimental with the sounds and effects. Seems in many ways quite formless, as if it is almost a live jam. Like "Hit-or-miss".
@Electravox: I believe that they actually are playing the song. But I think the song itself is relatively simple, so since they are four people, they don't have to do that much.
As much as I like this song, and as much as I think it's one of their signature songs I still think it's endearing how grandfathers like them are still kicking it. That and inspiring me and moving me are two different ball games, let me tell you. Kraftwerk in the 70s were gods and now are nothing more than cheap players but they still kick a little ass, though...
in their better days, they werent even on stage. they had four 'robots' representing themselves on stage and stood among the audience meanwhile. those guys invented electronic music as a concept, while the world listened to glam rock and shit like that. far ahead of their time. and even today their timeless music is still unique...
still jammin keep up the tech-werk...DJP1.......

The visuals are a bit vague.

Thanks to this video we see that they are just bullshitting. Just moving a few faders up and down and not "playing" shit.
