One thing I've never understood about monsters like Healie. Why would they want to become humans? I can understand wanting to be good individuals, but why give up the strength and special powers they have?

Ragnar is the shit, he's so confident in his manliness that he can wear pink and still feel like a pimp ^_^ My god i loved this game as a kid, i got so into the story and all the characters, i was attached to each and every one of them and their own personal struggle. Still my top favorite game to this day :D

Dragon Quest IV. Remake came out for DS not too long ago. First chapter of that game you play as Ragnar all alone would suck as hes all mellee. So Healie does his namesake. Heal. Song is taken from Rygars theme through.

What do you mean it's fruity? This is how hyadain usually does his songs. There's always at least a little bit of homosexuality, or at least hints of it.

Besides, it's an epic song of friendship between a human and a monster. My guess is that Healie isn't really cut out to be an evil monster. Hence, why he becomes human later on.

Unfortunately, he still has that strange speech impediment most slimes have...

bit of a late reply i know, but mannnn, you NEED to play this game, it is amazing! I suggest you splurge and spend the like 70 bucks you'd need to spend on the NES version, it is THAT good :D You get all the maps/weapon item spell enemy charts, ect too ^_^ But however you manage to play it, it is an AMAZING game, you reallllyyyy get attached to the characters in each chapter, it is my all time favorite game, it actually changed me as a child :)

You could also play the DS remake called Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen. It's basically the same game, but with enhanced graphics. It's not as original as playing the NES version, but it is a lot cheaper :)

lol yup it is a little late ;) So late infact, that i actually lucked out and got a free DS from my friend ("broken" as in the hinge doesn't work but it works fine for me), and i bought DQ4 for the ds :D Was so fun replaying it, even though the DS remake is 1000 times easier then the nes version xD
