Country music today is nothing more than the flavor of the day. I can't stand the doubling vocal machine they use on virtually every song put out. I guess they use it so much because the country artists of today can't sing!

I no longer listen to country music radio, it makes me gag!

Most of the so-called music these days seems to be more of a get rich quick scheme than anything else, old country and old rock-and-roll is actual music performed straight from the heart.

Billie Jo has a very sexy voice and pretty to boot. She can sing anything and make it sound like an award winner. I'm sorry that she's not in the limelight anymore. Too many of today's singers are not really loaded with talent - more of just showmanship and often mediocre voices.
