  • and also how much are are the sonia kashuk brushes and where can you get it?

  • @squidgetpj92 You can get them at target. Don't know how much - I don't have any of her brushes

  • you're so pretty

  • @squidgetpj92 you're so sweet!

  • good tutorial, and that was creepy when your deck door was opened!

  • @Syddysquiddy I peed my pants a little :)

  • ur so boring to watch

  • @Madeline844 Thanks!

  • @Madeline844 Also, there is an exit button available to every youtube site visitor

  • Are there any other foundations you recommend?

  • @quickstar71 I've been using Bare Minerals Matte forever now. I mostly use Neutrogena tinted moisturizer in the summer and Stila one step makeup

  • I have the blending sponge and it absorbs so much foundation grr lol And I thought it would grow in size once you wet it but it doesn't budge. Obviously I don't expect it to grow into a tennis ball but still lol. Anyways, great video:D BTW, are you still using your MAC Studio Fix powder? I just watched that video before watching this. I'm thinking about getting it, I have dry-ish skin but oily on T-zone.

  • @stellarbrite what kind of sponge do you have? my new one grew a lot. =) don't use Studio fix powder, I liked for a couple of weeks, but it doesn't help my oily skin. But it will probably look good on dry skin, I think

  • @LimeGreen118 I have the Sonia Kashuk sponge. Yours grew a lot? My sponge must be defective because it didn't grow at ALL, period. lol Like how big did it grow? Now I'm getting upset that mine isn't growing haha. But yeah, I used twice as much liq. foundation! I did dampen the sponge as well. I try to stay away from powders because they're known to sit on dry patches and make your face look flaky, this happens to me even with liq. foundation grr. I'm obsessed with exfoliation lol

  • @stellarbrite Oh no! Sonia Kashuk one was big already. It's not soft and it doesn't "grow" =)) But the beauty bender ones do, and they are awesome. I threw away the Sonia Kashuk one, because it sucked in comparison

  • @LimeGreen118 The S.K. sponge is just a purple version of the non-latex sponges we find at the drugstore lol. I did not get coverage with a full-coverage foudation..booo. I have enlarged pores around my nose because of the oil, and I foud out you beat oil with OIL. I tried Suki's Naturals Skincare, the blue algae (was it blue algae?)serum I remembered it to be so good but I stopped right after because it was too pricey for me. Her ingredients are au naturale, all the way. Check it out :D

  • @stellarbrite Thank you so much! Will do

  • @LimeGreen118 Hello! Hope you're doing well:D *sigh.. it's "back-to-school" time...*grunt* lol

  • you're a natural beauty. you don't need that much foundation and definitely not that much eye makeup! great video too!

  • @MissCourtneyDA Thanks so much for saying that, and I agree, but it's something I like to play around with. =)

  • hey do you have acne prone skin?

i have that rimmel primer, but im not sure if its to great for me skin.

  • when this video was made, I didn't have much of a problem. But now...my skin breaks out from anything and everything, so my Rimmel primer is long gone. If you have acne-prone skin, I wouldn't suggest using any silicone-based primers - I've had horrible experience with most of them!

  • If you dont have a new primer yet, try Philosophy's On a Clear Day primer, It works really well and helped clear up my skin A LOT.

  • Oh thank you! How is it on oily skin?

  • It helps mattify a little bit, but not much, it does make my foundation stay a lot longer. This sounds gross, but put a little bit of milk of magnesia under your primer, and it keeps your skin matte like allll day.

  • @hinae26 Thank you so much for your advice. I'll totally try out milk of magnesia

  • ur pretty without makeup :)

  • Aw. I really appreciate you saying that! Than you so much!

  • hey i really like your vids your make up always looks really good. i use mac foundation but do you have any tips for preventing it from blotching after awhile??

  • @AwkwardJellyfish Aw Thank you so much for writing such a nice comment? Do you use liquid or Fix Powder +? Something that I do, is use Prep + Prime Skin and let it sit for a bit (over a very light moisturizer that is oil free), and apply foundation when my skin feels completely dry. I don't have Mac liquid, but powder ends up blotching after a while still.

  • everytime I try and "contour" It just makes me look like I have dirt on my face.

  • I have quite a round face, so if I apply too much bronzer, the same thing happens, but with too little bronzer, there is almost no effect of cheek bones. So I just do slight contouring during the day and more dramatic if I go out at night or in the summer when my skin gets a little darker. I think it's also important to use the right shade of bronzer for your skin and try out different ones.

  • Hmm thank you I'll keep that in mind

  • your gorguse! But i agree your makeup is a little bit to dark.

  • Thanks! It was pretty dar from the summer and I went out and bought a shade lighter for the winter, so it's all good now =)

  • you're gorgeous !! i love your videos

  • Thank you so much!!!

  • Your makeup looks a bit dark for your skin tone. It might just be the lighting though loll.

    Nice video though :)

  • Thanks! I dk, it might be too dark. I think the lighting is pretty accurate in this one.

  • You're welcome :)

And it's not all that dark lol,

    don't go changing anything

The colour (yes, I'm Canadian, we have random 'U's in many words lol) just makes you look a lot more tan than you look like you are without the makeup?

I'm not sure if you know what I mean, but it deinfitely does not look bad!

  • YEah, I know what you mean. But sometimes when I just get done washing my face, it's much lighter for a while until the blood rushes in there, or I'm not sure what it is. So it was right after I washed my face. But ahhh anyway, I won't change anything cause I don't have tons of other foundations haha

  • love your routine! ver simple and effective;)

    you look great!

  • Thank you! I agree- you can really see the difference I think

  • Great vid! Waw the look when you thought someone's out there!

I actually see the blush as pretty pigmented in the video, but I have the same problem with my MAC blush - not very pogmented.

  • LOL! I know, I got a little freaked out when I heard the noise =) I think the Neutrogena blush is made more for highlighting and I really put a lot on my brush for this video
