My first character in 1999 was a DE, I played the same character and never made an alt for 3 years or so. So I explored from Neriak out into the world of Norrath with no other knowledge of the games world
I remember throwing an invisibility spell over myself on my Brell gnome wizard and then trying to infiltrate Neriak. Creepy and weird to say the least. I used to go on all these crazy adventures to old world zones that would never pan out to anything but at least I had fun. That's really the reason I never got past level 62 and never really became successful in that game, although I was the leader of a pickup raid once :D
