you just can not beat the epiphone valve jr amp. no way! they kick and for 130 to150 bucks. man there is no other tube amp out there for that kind of bucks.. this amp is for real guitar players. like the guy who post this video. and it is a 10 + video.

that hammond ot makes a hell of a difference. i am hopefully getting one of these with a hammond and a tonestack added too plus all the usual mods. gets a bit pricey but still more amp for our buck than anything else...

Hehe, no matter what you do with these amp heads or combos they don't really change sound much. Still got their own type of grunt because of the output trafo. Most noticeable difference is when you change preamp tube to another brand. I've tried it all with this amp but it's still the same 'ol grunt eccept now brighter with another tube. Fun amps for sure I like them for garage rock.
