  • i got thth piano but i have a stand is urs a ypg 635? mine has oak wood thgh

  • Thanks a lot. Is this the intro?

Hey, I love your explanation bcauz I can keep on learning

  • Thank you very much for the tutorial, and for the time put into making it, uploading it, etc.

  • And btw, the E major chord you said, isnt' an E major 7th, it's actually just a E 7, meaning dominant 7th, very common in jazz, meaning the 7th is flatted.

  • You're absolutely correct. That was a year ago, and I didn't have much theory under my belt. I wasn't saying Major as opposed to Dominant, I was modifying E with Major. I realize that now that, in the jazz world, an anonymous triad is assumed to be Major. Thanks for the comment.

  • I've got the exact same piano.

  • This is good but it seems like a lot of jumping around....

    Why not play A, C/G, F#/D, F

  • I completely agree with changing the economy of movement in chord transitions. Although if I were to play it, I'd keep the root in the base, and just use inversions. The A would be normal, the C would be in second inversion (G C E), Same with the D (F# A D), then the F would be normal. When playing the E, second inversion seems ideal (Ab B E). I trie to keep it simple in this tutorial though.

  • Fast-forward then.

  • hijo de mierda porque no te callas y nos dejas oir al puto cambio que me epurto y me dessepero con puta gente como tu

  • Wow. Impressive Spanish. How's your piano playing? Not good? Then go somewhere else for a tutorial.

  • @gasperr94 Veve al mierda, mariposa.....

  • LOL i understood it until you started talking 7ths! oh well.

  • The 7th is just one less than the octave. So the octave is D to D, a 7 might be D to C. Since C is just before D. Make sense? Thanks for watching!

  • makes sense to me

  • I think this is the song I'm looking for, I slept at my friend's the other night and they have an electric keyboard and it played something like (or could be) house of the rising sun and the keys would light up and you could learn it. As soon as I came home, I forgot the song but vaugly remember how to play it.

  • Thanks!

You are a very good teacher!

  • no, no pedal, which is probably why... and if you mean the knob on the far left, then no, its in the middle... also, i was messing around with the settings a little earlier and found that for some reason there is a slightly different "voice" of grand piano under 129... and a similar sounding one under 130... (im comparing to 001)... but thanks, I'll go try to get a pedal ASAP...

  • what settings do u use on that piano.. cause i just got mine and i cant get that nice piano tune... i just use that grndpiano voice that u get when u press the protable piano black button, but like i said, it seems a little off

  • That's the same setting mine is on. I'm not sure why yours would be off... is your nob on the far right stuck a bit up or down? That would throw the pitch off... But we are using the same setting: Grand Piano

  • On second thought... are you using a pedal? I use a pedal, and it makes everything sound way better.

  • that was nicely done. good teaching skills.

    cheers!

  • me too

  • i got same yamaha keyboard :p
