PS - Using the about:config method, after pressing Enter, you will get a message asking you if you really want to do it. Answer Yes, and I will promise to be careful or whatever it says. Just change the DOM Storage to true if it's set on False. I knew I had Flash installed, but nothing worked until I found this info upon researching. It might not be that you need to mess with flash. Please let me know if it works for anybody. Just trying to help, cause it took long to get the correct answer
What which worked for me and is very EASY for anybody! Type in ONLY the following on your Firefox address bar (about:config) and press enter.(That's a colon in between words). Press enter and you will see your configurations. Scroll down to DOM Storage, which might be in BOLD, If it indicates False, right click and then click reset, which will change it to True! I don't know anything about computers, but when I changed it to true, all was fixed using YouTube with Firefox 3.6.12!
@Toastbrot40 Google Chrome now has Adobe Flash built into it. So it should work better, even though a friend of mine had a similar Flash problem. in Chrome.
To fix the Flash on Firefox problem click the, ClearTechInfo link below the video. It will lead you to a an article on installing Flash on Firefox.
Look in the comments section. Find the one that is titled, "Adobe Flash Player not working (JavaScript error) - Solution". That will link you to a solution I came up with to fix problems
@f15458 Follow the link below the video. It will take you to the article associated with this video. At the end of that article is this exact video available for download. You can download it in Windows or Mac format.
on mine the allow bit comes up with install missing plugins, when i click that it says it cant and do it manually. on website tell u to dload this file which i cant open
When I click download , a yellow bar pops up saying "install missing plugins". When I click that, it says "no suitable plugins were found". Help please?
@m4rv13 What web browser are you using and what version of that web browser is it? Since you say there is a Yellow Bar I am guessing it is Internet Explorer?
@m4rv13 Using Firefox 3.6+ and I go to websites that make the bar appear on top, it never works for me either. They way I solved this was to just go to the exact website in the video tutorial above and install Adobe Flash the exact way I show you in the video tutorial above.
Remember that your anti-virus program or popup blocker can prevent Adobe Flash Player from installing. Disable them.
@amaru369 You have to Uninstall All Adobe Flash Players from your computer, then restart. Then you can follow the tutorial above for a successful install.
NOTE: Also you MUST disable or Exit any/all anti-virus, firewall, security or pop-up blocker software. If you do not do this it may never install correctly.
ok mine says the additional plugins are required and i click install missing plugins but then it says no missing plug ins found...i have flash player 10. something but i want to update it and its not working. help
