It works great for me too, i cant believe that it doesnt work for so many people. i absolutely LOVE IT!!

my skin was always pretty clean, but i always had heaps of black heads around my nose. i tries heaps of products (like clearasil, neutragena, etc) that were especially for blackheads, but none of them worked. Proactive got rid of those blackheads FROM THE FIRST TIME I USED IT! (especially their mask)

yeah it works the best on oily skin.. because what it does is drys up everything in the pores and if theirs oil it works harder trying to get past it in which case would also kill the bacteria on the pores much better.. but can also make you exetremely dry so make sure you use the full process to avoid dry skin

I RELY on Proactiv Solution. It sucks, though, because when you go off Proactiv, your skin is so dependent on it that your acne becomes 10 times worse than it did before you went on Proactiv. So you're kind of stuck with it, as am I. If anyone has any "solutions" (no pun intended) to how I can get off Proactiv without having terrible skin, please let me know.

proactiv isn't a miracle, but it's the best thing i've found so far. it took about a month for my face to clear up, i stopped using it, and i broke out. so i'm using it again.

the only thing is you MUST use moisturizer after the repairing lotion (it says to in the booklet) or you will end up with very dry, sunburned looking skin. i learned that the hard way... i also recommend queen helene mint julep masque and tea tree oil or honey are the best spot treatments.. good luck everyone

u know now you will have to use this product for years its the benzoyl peroxide it can age you and onky damge the skin try products with sulfur

It didn't work for me :( It worked at the beginning and gradually it didn't even make a difference to my face when I start to break out again. I went to the dermatologist and she said it isn't the best way to go.. I went with her advise and used roaccutane and it's soooo much better! :D

(THIS IS MY OPINION)....i used proactive, BIG waste of money, Why?

1) the cleanser HURT my face, the scrubs in it, felt like it was ripping my skin apart! wayy to ruff of a cleanser

2) toner, made my skin VERY blotchy, (as in redness- color)

3) and it overall just made me break out more

and then i stoped using it and switch to the "Clean and Clear acne advantage set"

THAT STUFF WORKS, i use it at night, and use the clean and clear Morning Burst Facil cleanser in morning, WORKS WONDERS!!

When I used it it was amazing, It cleared most of my blemishes up and everything, now i have been using it for 3 months and it isn't really helping. Sometimes it is better and sometimes it changes. The green tea mosturizer made my skin REALLY bad though.

Tried it. Worked for a while, then stopped. Waste of money. I know it works for some but it's not worth the money. Their customer service sucks. The packaging is ridiculous, at one point I have 4 bottles of toner and no cleanser. I have no confidence in Proactiv. Proactiv did the same to me at first and I stopped using it. But after a recommendation from a friend I used it once a day at night, applied gently and Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. It makes all the difference in the world. Cetaphil moisturing lotion is the best! It will not clog your pores. Try it again...Im sure you'll like it.

im using it now. the 2nd makes my face dry as fuck so i used moisterizer and that made it oily again. i guess it does get rid of the acne but i get dark markes on my face which take about a month to go away. the booklet says this is normal but i dont know. also, if you miss a day or a night or something of putting it on you get pimples right away. so unless you use it everyday and night it doesnt seem to do a whole lot.

in my case it did work i had only a little but i noticed the more you use proactiv the more acne you get so try to use it only at night and ill say dont leave it on for more than three hours and in the morning use the toner only and non comedogenic lotion remember the dryier your skin the oilier is gonna be also i take a lot of vitamin a and c they both help your skin since i don trust vitamin supplements i get them naturally

I have tried a product called ACNEXUS. It's not as widely advertised as PROACTIV but it is made from all natural ingredients and is a one step process. It kinda works like a scrub and a moisturiser at once, although if you live in a cold/dry climate, use a moisturiser as well. Its also a slow process so give it 3 months or so. It wont dry your skin though, and it also gives you a younger vibrant look. Man, I sound like a sales rep haha.

one thing most of you should know this stuff is very strong, you would have to have skin of steel to do it twice a day, everyday, its better to do this every 2 to 3 days and it works effectively and you don't have any problems that you hear about.

I've tried proactiv and yes, it is great. However, the magic is really just in the routine of cleansing, applying toner, and moisturizing every day. It's no necessarily the proactiv product that is so wonderful. Clean and Clear works just fine.

Different people = different skin types and problems. Like Ella Bache once said, "No two skins are alike". Proactiv may work for some. However, there may be a same amount of people who didn't have success with it.

I've tried it myself and found it useless. Instead, I've been using Retin-A gel which has effectively removed active acne. I'm mainly left with minor scarring unfortunately. Hopefully Creme de La Mer will help.
