I have asked on a few videos now and haven't gotten a reply... I have noticed that some people stir their absinthe, and some do not. Does this make any difference? Also, wonderful choice in music. Which Op is it, as there were a number of Noctournes written by Chopin (it's actually a style of composition, as opposed to being a title)?
It makes me wonder how long that bottle lasted and where you bought this rare absinthe from. They don't even sell Jade PF1901 in the States so I'll probably never try this.
@necronomicon009 Actually they've started remaking them recently after they discovered the old distillery and equipment. The 1901 is just to mark the important date of the pernod fils. Also, very recently (within the last few months) absinthe has become legal in the United States. Not all absinthe, though, mind you. There are regulations and I'm not sure if this one fits in the kosher side of things, but it's worth investigating.
You get addicted to the preparation it's self. It's actually great fun to watch, very relaxing and the more you consume.. the more interesting it gets.
I'm currently drinking a elegant fruity lexia that has been aged in plastic barrels and comes in a 4 liter cask for $9.99. Want to trade buy any chance, LOL.
That was absolutely entrancing...I am looking forward to doing it properly myself, with the fountain, and romantic era music to add to the atmosphere.
Nice vid, love that fountain aswell. I know it`s all about personal preference but I`ve always found that the Jades like most quality absinthe donot need the sugar.
I Love the PF 1901, but I think I like the Edouard a bit better. I just bought a 50ml sample of Vintage 1910 Pernod Fils, so after I get that I am going to buy a bottle of PF 1901 and to a side by side comparison...Great Vid, put more up!!
I liked the part where the water dripped into the glass.

@PassingAutonomy You should stir it especially if you use sugar. You want to make sure it's all mixed. There is no reason not to.
