you can also go out through the SW harbour

Haha, I do this all the time :P You can get to the mage place through there too. Oh and by the way, The place were you said not to jump is alright to jump down, You'll fall for awhile then hit the watch (if your lucky DUM DUM DUM) just north of SW, Then you just swim up :]
