  • Thanks. Microdosing is a method you may want to look at. As the stats re. rats show animal exp. has no value scientifically, it is really a legal device. curedisease . net has good info on microdosing drugtestingconference . com will show you real scientific methods of drug testing, ie those which provide results correct for humans.

  • Aniaml exp do not work anyway, there is nothiong to weigh up and no need to experiment on humans. "Given substances are not necessarily carcinogenic to all species. Studies show that 46% of chemicals found to be carcinogenic in rats were not carcinogenic in mice." DiCarlo DrugMet Rev,15; p409-131984. see curedisease . net for real scientific methods, ie those which produce results applicable to humans. AEexp. is a legal device, not a scientific one

  • @sciencenotrats yes, this is admittedly a problem - the oversensitivity fo some species as test subjects, leading to good products (and, especially, good medicines) being needlessly rejected. but i don't see a better way of doing things. animal testing isn't perfect, but i don't see any other way.

  • @sciencenotrats "Aniaml exp do not work anyway"

Are you joking, or just ignorant? What about blood transfusions (guinea pigs), Insulin (dogs), penicillin (mice), anticoagulants (rabbits) discovery of the rhesus factor (monkeys) heart transplants (dogs) life support systems for premature babies (monkeys)

There are problems is some cases, but nothing in life is perfect, but at least we are making problems to solve the problems of mankind

  • I like your beard.

  • @XEvanescenceXLove it is the source of all my powers...

  • We appreciate you mentioning us; it was pretty educational. We will definately subscribe; hope you do the same.

  • @HeSaidSheSaidShow awesome, cheers :-)

  • Also I wanted to mention that I received a notification email from YouTube saying that this video was posted as a response to my ex veganazi vid but when I checked my vid response inbox to approve it *poof* it was gone. lol I don't know what happened there, maybe a YT glitch.

  • @Robobubbacunta youtube is an ass, i tellz ya, an ASS!!!

  • No poetry *gasp*! Hehehe and despite this you still manage to emit high levels of awesomeness! Thank you for this informative response. I hadn't gotten too in depth on my research so I learned some things thanks to this video. You perfectly articulated certain points I wasn't quite sure if I successfully expressed in my video. For instance the true likeness between forced testing on a person and the terrible crimes committed by the criminals in question. Well done! =)

  • @Robobubbacunta thanks. i was prodded into doing some research by my gf. otherwise i'd have probably just rambled :-P

i'm just thankful you encountered me at this stage in your life - former you would have hated me. i'm the biggest meat eater on the planet :-P

  • @kokorochris In that case thank you and your gf because I did benefit from this research. Yeah, a year ago I was very anti-meat-eater, thankfully I didn't hold onto that mindset. It wasn't very much fun judging people by their diet, and as you can imagine I didn't make very many friends as a result of it because I only appreciated the company of like minded individuals. How boring. =)

  • @Robobubbacunta but don't you think testing a few animals here and there is a lot better than massively consuming them each day, millions of people eating meat each day, versus 1 or 2 animals tested here and there for important things. Like you I became anti-meat eater and had trouble deciding how I was going to get along in the real world. Never committed to it for the same reasons as you.

  • @HugNow Hey HugNow, I'm not against animal testing or meat consumption. However I do take issue with factory farming. I'd much rather see someone do their own hunting or purchase meat from a local farmer or hunter, and in my area this is often the case. But I understand that alternatives are not always readily available so I cant really blame the folks who do purchase factory farmed meat products.

  • The delay between the video and the audio in this video is terrible buddy. Apart from that not bad.

  • @QuarkyGideon yeah, youtube keeps doing that to me :( need to find a new way of recording stuff i think

    but cheers
