Linden's biggest problem was that he never got any ice time when he came back to Vancouver..except when Vinyo and Crow had no other options. He had 20 goals as a 3rd liner his first year back in Vancouver, and there aren't too many of those even today. How can anyone say he'd slowed down or didn't have the hands when he wasn't given ample opportunity to demonstrate he could still play? All we know about his later years is that he could still score big goals.
I miss Linden, he was a hero for the Canucks, 16 seasons with them, #16, he will go down in Canucks history. Such a shame he didn't win a cup though. :(
