In the 2000's, Favre had a 117.7 QB rating in 3 wins, and a 63.3 QB rating losses. I guess he gave 110% until he felt like giving 73% instead. Favre simply thought too damn much of himself, played his Favreball WAAAAYYY too many times, patted himself on the back for being such an intrepid risk taker, and killed off the season for himself AND HIS TEAMMATES. And THEN he was so privileged to dictate terms to the team for his future services. When the moved on without his damaged brain, he returned.

The Packers were the best REGULAR SEASON team from 1992-2007, something that takes more than ONE GUY. Did the Pack fall off a bit? Sure, they were simply the best REGULAR SEASON NFC team from 1998-2006, with the best regular season record against other NFC PLAYOFF teams over that time. What did it get us? Four embarrassing exits from the playoffs between '01-'04.
