Mary's job was to give birth to Jesus. At the end of her life, Mary only got into Heaven the same way everyone else did and that was having the salvation through her only son Jesus Christ.

Most service prayers and songs at our churches revolve around Mary and other saints rather than Jesus.

If Jesus said he is the way, life and truth and no one gets to the father but through him, do you need someone else to get you to Jesus? If you do, go ahead and do what you please. Try to keep your focus on Jesus and become a Christian, not just a catholic, orthodox or pentecostal. God bless.

But what i dont agree to is how catholic and even orthodox "christ"ians worship her and give her more importance than Jesus. You cant deny that saying "no one does that!" because it is very much being done. Now, end of my conversation.

@zaracki92 We Catholics DO NOT worship her. As MrJamesthecatholic said, we venerate her. She is the Mother of Jesus-we respect her, just like you would respect the mother of a King-she's not the King himself, the one people DO worship, but we still respect her for being his mother. ALL Catholics understand that Jesus is twice as important as Mary.

@daisymall13 right, so all the things I've seen and heard till this day was a lie? I'm in an Orthodox, have relative that are Catholics, and I'd have to deny your claims. Like I said before, just because you say "no one does that" it isn't the reality. Its not Jesus is twice as important, it is, Jesus is the only one that matters. Respect Mother Mary, I do too, but don't focus on her too much.

@johnmelbink I'm thinking the reason why she said it's bad is because mother Mary is being deified here, surely she deserves respect for the heavens saw her worthy of receiving Jesus. but do not forgot Jesus wasn't born just because of Mary. he existed long before that. Jesus created the world as we know it. why do people call the virgin Mary "mother of God"? even though Jesus was God he was 100% human. God does not have a mother.

Why ? Because the Blessed Mother carried the Lord in her womb and gave birth to Him. What do you call someone who gives birth ? Your mother dint create you. God did. She gave birth to you and so you call her mother (I hope). Mother of God != Creator of God and no one claims so.
"Mary is being deified here" No she is not.. What is offered to the Lord is Latria (worship) and to the blesses Virgin its hyperdullia (veneration)
