Lots of students don't even use the Internet that much for educational purposes. They use it as a form of entertainment. I think they're overlooking the Internet's purpose as an educational tool.

I'll have to disagree with you. Most of the time, easy-to-read, useful information is returned by widely-used search engines. These pieces of information are returned by very simple, common queries. Lots of the information is typed in large print, and due to the capabilities of current web-browsers, small print and deterring colors are no longer problems that can't easily be circumvented. You should speak for yourself only. Don't use "we" here -- it's refutable in many ways.
agreed. I feel an emotion about the internet. It's called love. The power of google compelles you. Yes, it's an unrequited love, but if it did love me back, I wouldn't know how to handle it. I think I'd feel guilty for not being able to return it in kind. I'm so inadequate :.(
DEAR GOD i say the same thing ALL THE TIME!! Things I hate even more is if I happen to be on a side chat , and I tell someone something they don't understand what I say and want me to explain to them what certain word means or what it is that i referenced, i say GOOGLE IT, THE POWER OF THE INTERNET IS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS! and I usually get a response "oh I'm too lazy" That's so frustrating !

Yeah. You get a lot of that in school levels lower than the university/college level. Usually, at the uni/college level, the instructors have experience in research and whatnot, so they don't just give you things they've read about.
