  • people that say these cars are wack dont know sht. These cars back in the day where so fast to the point of dangerous. Most of them were around 450hp and wiegh only 1500lbs. I beliave the fastest accelerated from 0-60 in 2.8sec in GRAVEL!!! The rally federation even banned group B cars from competition because people were dying in these cars. Still think they are wack?

  • only stupid drivers?

  • audi s1 cars from 1985-86 have now max 500-530 hp .. about 100 hp less than before but still A LOT !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if not worse

  • to totaly destroy a group B car by meaning is the same as kill a human.

  • Somehow it's not the same as watching the monsters in action during a race. There isn't that "faster, at all costs" feeling. No one wants to wreck their nice old Group B car. Not that I can blame them.

  • do you see the condition xD it can't be driven!!!!

  • Huh? What are you talking about? You mean the road conditions? They sure didn't let that stop them back in 1986. The problem here is that the road is wet, it is slippery pavement, and the drivers aren't Henri Toivonen or Ari Vatanen! They would have driven at 100MPH on water if they had to. LOL.

  • whell as you can see first car audi quatro that engine was pretty loud....I think that they gave 100% without fear for a car.....it was just to slipperily......for them.....

  • Thats cars seems at that road conditions undriveables!

  • As previously commented it is a rally school so tarmac is very slippery. Most of these cars run on gravel tyres to enable the cars to move about at slower speeds. Makes for good spectating.

  • Those cars to be able to drive them, it needs a good skill in left foot braking.

Impossible to be handled without using this technic.

  • I do think that they are using normally slicks on that floody track. It would work better with tires made for Wet Tarmac. Specially the Audi

  • I used to work on the Nissan 240RS shown in that video !

  • im a conspiracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The surface the cars are on is designed to be extremely slippy even in dry conditions. The track is at a rally school. The cars were on dry tyres and a sudden cloudburst occured. Oh, and the cars HP ranges from 250 - to 600 in the Turbocharged cars.

  • lotsa power, on wet pavement.. its slick

  • nice, subcsribed

  • slippy as hell, they're all water planing

  • I agree, shame to see such great cars driven like that!

  • That cars twenty years old, I know I wouldnt be driving it like a muppet

  • The driving is pretty shit, must be members of the public trying them out or something.

  • either that or slick tires, i don't think that they usually slide that bad

  • Give it a try, on that wet tarmac friction is like polished ice.

  • are you kidding 250.000 Eur cars given to the hands of `members of the public`. i don`t think so. 500-600 horsepower and freaking slippery road plus 900 kg cars. you do the math.

  • It's always good to see newer group b footage!
