they were influenced by other things, thats what happens to a lot of bands. or they just wanted to try something new. crimson wasn't as good as goddamnit, NOTHING ON EARTH is as good as goddamnit, but crimson was good to a lot of people who liked that style.
yeah but you also gotta give them props for trying new stuff with the piano and other instruments. crimson is not better than good mourning, fuck you aurora or from here to infirmary, but they are expanding, not a bad thing
