@EddieEddieEddie90 SnagIt, in this case because it was ZSNES, but you can use variants of SNES9x that have re-recording enabled (check TASVideos) that can take movies and then you can encode those movies into AVI without needing a screen capture utility such as FRAPS or SnagIt. It's also better on the video as well.

From there, I'll use VirtualDub and encode in either H.264 or MPEG-4.

not enough credit was given to this game. where everyone was talking about SF2 and MK, (which was deserved) i was playing killer instinct. i was combo-ing people with jago and there was great satisfaction of using a sword in a combo as a connecting move. i was either doing that, or flashing people with orchid to finish them =P

But yeah, BS Breaker. But sometimes old goofy things that didn't break games were part of the fun gaming experience. Wonder if that was from some kind of hack or that was really just one of those weird things.

It really was one of those weird things. BUT it only happens in certain scenarios and with certain combos going into it. For whatever reason the combo that Combo uses here doesn't seem to throw a flag that the combo is finished (usual 3-hit roll is 2-hit canceled into his ascending attack for 3-hit combo). Only that combo had this result and it only happens when the game goes into its 'cheap mode' after you do so much damage to it without being hit back.

@xxHiryuuxx I've done this before on accident, as I recall it seemed to be because I issued a combo breaker a little late into the combo, like 1ms later than it should have accepted, and so it just gave it to me anyway because it was queued up in the system. This didnt have to be at round end, it could happen at any point. Probably only seen it twice in my life, and once doing it myself.

@uviuar If I had to guess, there are certain combos, such as the one that I showed with Combo here, that don't quite 'close' effectively. I'm not sure if this is a glitch with the autoseconds or something not quite figuring out that the combo has ended or what it is...I do cancel the usually 3-hit roll into a rising attack prematurely and that might be the cause of the glitch. I'm pretty sure there are other combos like this as well.

However in your vid it is even more "weird" because Fulgore was able to 'Combo Break' you after the READY legend. I know weird things happen often, the damn cpu from the arcade version has actually performed the Combo Breaker on me twice in a row LOL, it's totally crazy!!

Answer, millions. And yet they still haven't put another Killer Instinct game out. Certain companies cry about not doing well and yet the answer that is the KI gem is right under their nose and ready to use.

Here's to hope one of the KI3 rumors out there might actually be real. Hope against hope.

They'll do damage depending on the amount of health left on the person who pulls one off. The lower the health, the more damage. Same with all attacks. It usually registers around the same damage or better as a hard kick/punch contacting.
